Rat (or anybody else that has an opinion), help me with my pick em pool this week. Cinci vs Indiana and Bama vs. Florida. Do Indiana or Florida have a chance? Other games in pick em for this week are:

Nebraska v Oklahoma
Coastal Carolina v Buffalo
Va. Tech v West Va
Mich St v Miami
Utah v San Diego St
Auburn v Penn St
Okie St. v Boise
Arizona St v BYU

Everybody always goes with the favorite it seems, the trick is to rank the picks so that if you pick an upset you rank is such that you get the most points for it. Or else you pick an upset and rank it low in the hopes that everybody else picked it and ranked it high and therefor will lose more points...

So in other words, give me the top 3 or 4 locks from that list and the 2 or 3 potential upsets. I'd say my strongest picks would be Coastal and Oklahoma, all the other ones seem like they could go either way, although it's always hard to go against Bama...

Is Mich St the favorite over Miami? I assume Michigan St isn't ranked right?
I like the stinky pinky but only up to the first knuckle, I do not want a GD thumb up there--I've told her multiple times and I always catch her when she tries to pull a fast one---it's my butthole for Chrissakes I'm gonna know--so cut out the BS.

I don't know, you just have to pick the winner in this weekly pick em contest and then rank them in order. You get the number of points for whatever position (1 thru 10) you have that game at, but zero points if your pick loses. So you try to put your weakest picks (well, what you think are your weakest picks) at the lower spots to if they lose you don't lose as many points. Well, you don't really lose points, but you'd rather not get 1 point than not get 10 points..

I don't see Florida beating Alabama. 14.5 sounds about right. Floridas QBs can run which Bammer hates but probably not enough. As far as Cincy. Don't know the spread but I would think they should win.

Michigan St is getting 7.5 against the favored Miami.

Its a must win game for Miami though.

Bianchi picked UF to upset Bammer in today's Sentinel. That seals an already sealed Bama win. Best hope is UF can beat the spread by a point or two.

It's a no-brainer Sporty Lock of the week:

Take the Raiders to beat the spread against the Steelers, if not win outright.

What? The Bears are favored over the Bengals? Bengals beat the spread and win.

You could've just said Bengals win and we would've understood that they beat the spread in that case...

Don't let the Bengals lull you into their spell.
