absolutely hilarious :
A few days after the Reddit posting, a reader wrote to us and maintained that the quiz displayed above belonged to his 10-year-old daughter, saying:
I didn't know that this was being taught to her until we heard a radio commercial together about the Discover the Dinosaurs exhibit was coming to the TD Convention Center [in Greenville, South Carolina].
The Commercial starts out, "After 65 million years, the dinosaurs have returned ..." She commented immediately that it was only four thousand years ago. When I corrected her, she snapped back, "Were you there?" I have since taught my daughter differently, but I am sure she is confused now and plan to make sure she understands that teachers are people too and can be factually wrong.

For IB to defend that idiocy is...well, not surprising. Stand down, nothing to see here.

When kids are taught that nonsense, they turn into this kind of adult (taken from a different forum on which the test was posted and discussed):
No transitional fossils. End of story. Not to mention we'd be seeing transitional LIVING animals, people etc. To say it all happened at one interval of time is asinine. We'd see half people half ape or fish with legs or some such nonsense. We do not. Neither would there be cohesiveness to it all. There is a grand design in everything. If it all were left to mere chance and happenstance, if it were able to live at all it would be neither cohesive nor able to survive. Eyes would be in strange places IF there were eyes at all. Legs would be misshapen and bodies would be horrible to look at. We're talking mere chance here. If you're seriously foolish enough to even begin to think hands just happened or eyes were some miraculous chance creation and our brains were the result of simple chance occurence,....you're a complete idiot...there really is no other way to put it nicely.....

Teach her differently? You need to send the little girl to a different school?

I am faaaaaaaar from an insider, but a source I really trust thinks the Heels got a commitment from Wiggins today. I guess we'll see soon enough.

I'm not saying Wiggins won't go to Carolina, but in the past week Carolina insiders have whiffed badly on Wiggins. He was supposed to commit on the day before he was supposed to talk with Self and Hamilton, and then he was supposed to commit this weekend. Maybe Wiggins is going to Carolina and is just dragging his feet with the commitment but he is making Carolina "insiders" look pretty foolish.
To UK's credit, while many are confident, to my knowledge they aren't giving any absolute specifics as to when it will happen. Supposedly he is going to commit by the 15th per his coach.

I have a sneaky feeling that Wiggins is telling multiple schools that he is going to be signing with them.

That doesn't really make sense. I have a sneaky feeling one of his parents are really pushing FSU and he doesn't really want to go there.

I think they are pushing UNC now, after giving up no FSU which is fueling all the UNC chatter.

Danny Green hits a 3 to tie. Too bad he didn't play for Cal, he would've gone pro after his freshman year and now be selling cars somewhere. But let's criticize Roy for "holding players back"...
