seriously? academic scandal is the cardinal sin of athletics and UNC is going to walk away without any punishment...you're stance is *at worst* they're pretty much like everyone else?
Incorrect. Paying players is the cardinal sin.
you can say that but the universities charter is to educate. Paying a player doesn't alter the education experience. faking classes does.

If you think I'm keeping this alive you're stupider than I thought. The Charlotte/News and Observer ran an article today that was originally published in the Charleston Post and Courier this week. The SBI has an ongoing investigation as well at the Secretary of State, not to mention SACS which pulled the Chancellor from Texas fucking A&M to come to Chapel Hill to see what you morons are up to. Emmert has done his best to distance the NCAA from the filth at it's favorite child but even he has left open the possibility of the NCAA coming back. But obviously only State fans are looking at this right Hedge? Hedge thinks U*NC spend over a half million bucks on a PR firm because of packpride. What an idiot.

SACS is the serious one..thats the group that makes the UNC diploma worthless

the sad part is that U*NC threw academics under the bus to preserve athletics. They figured that their connections would protect them academically like they did athletically and they still might. SACS could really fuck their shit up if they want to, but I doubt SACS does anything more than putting AFAM on warning or probation with future monitoring. That being the case UNC will just step up the move of the fraud classes to another department like communications. If they do invalidate some of those classes all heck could break loose.

although it is a bit disturbing that a middle-aged man gets so worked up over it. you should be this outraged over how the Man continues to stick it to you.

Actually, you're both incorrect. Shaving Points is the cardinal sin while Premature Ejaculation is the Cardinal sin.

while I agree point shaving is huge - that isn't University sanctioned. that is between the players and the bookie.

A few months ago Stu was telling me he didn't even remember why State got in trouble back in the nineties so I should let this go. Now he's throwing Washburn in my face. Start taking memory pills Stu?
Also Hedge has spent the last couple of months insisting he hasn't been paying attention to the scandal, then says it's over because he hasn't seen any national coverage in the press.

Hedge I don't know if you care or not but Wilson has a DG course at Lake Wilson. Actually looks pretty cool. Some water and some woods easy front 9 tough back nine.

You can buy discs from 10 to 20 bucks. Could be a fun thing for you and Stu or even you and the MYF.

The MIF's oldest daughter is dating a guy who is a frisbee golfer, I think he mentioned that Lake Wilson course. I doubt Stu's mammoth ass could make it a full round without collapsing...

sounds like Subu was the magic bullet - safer than ambien.
That story really shows the mindset of an addict. The mental addiction is the real driver, not physical. Krokodil sounds worse than meth but they both share the same fucked up chemistry.
