well, in this case, nobody was conscious due to a leak in the cabin and the plane floated hundreds of miles off course and higher before running out of fuel and plummeting. Stewart was IDed by the hand they found with his wedding ring on it.

the thing about this jet compared to the payne stewart deal-is the perfect timing of the transponder being turned off just as they cleared malaysia and were entering vietnam airspace.

seems like they were commandeered about then--the hijackor forces the pilot or the rogue pilot ascends to an altitude where he can depressureize and neutralize everybody on the plane except the those in the cabin. unfortunately or fortunately they didnt consider something and wound up waxing themself in a hunt for red october moment--"you arrogant ass. I heard a pilot say not to put too much faith in that timeline with regard to when something was turned off/stopped communicating until they get the black box. Also, that even if it went off when they think it did, it could be fire that caused the com array to stop working.

They could have flown under radar and are now prisoners in some middle eastern terror camp. The plane is fine & being retooled with C4 for a suicide mission.

Some people need closure in the most tangible way possible, or it haunts them. Most people can accept an outcome that they did not see, but others will never sit right with those things. I think this is what we're seeing from this Flight 370 nonsense.
