Not necessarily. You restore all the Clinton tax cuts. Either that or recognize that this whole premise doesn't fit at all. The top 2% control a greater percentage than they did during the Clinton years so don't look to go back for all but move forward.

"always to be followed by a dictatorship, then a monarchy."
Do you seriously believe we'll ever have a monarchy in this country?

" It also would mean extremely large decreases in military spending."
I'm all for that...

"Federal workers, the coalition wrote in a letter, have contributed more than their fair share toward reducing the debt and are the only group that has been targeted so heavily.
“Federal and postal employees and their families are hardworking, middle-class Americans who are struggling during these tough times just like other Americans,” the group wrote. “No other group has been asked to financially contribute the way they have, and it is time our nation’s leaders found other ways to reduce the deficit than continually taking from those who have dedicated their lives to public service.”

Ready to fly out of Los Angeles today to get to your family before Thanksgiving? Not so fast. Los Angeles’ labor unions have decided to protest on Thanksgiving Eve – one of the busiest travel days of the year – to snarl traffic around Los Angeles International Airport (LAX). President Obama’s favorite union, the Service Employees International Union, is spearheading the obnoxious effort; it’s supposed to last from 11 a.m to 4 p.m., virtually the entire day.

Not sure by what you mean by restoring Clinton tax cuts. The fact of the matter is that by raising the top two rates to what they were under Clinton, eliminate deductions for those in those brackets, and take dividends back to ordinary rates, you only raise $140 billion a year. Far short of bridging the gap. You need more cuts, period.

I said all the Clinton tax rates. Rates for the middle class are lower than they were under Clinton as well. They are lower than they were for the middle class under Bush (President Obama has decreased taxes since he's been in office)

Golfing in the morning, eating in the afternoon, watching football in the evening. More golf on Friday morning.
Best damn holiday there is.

No golf, just the most evil stomach flu/disorder ever. Won't get the cultures results back until next Tues, so it's bananas and toast thru the weekend at least.
Luckily I've been reacquainted with something from my youth that lo and behold has the enormous benefit of reducing severe nausea and cramps.
who knew, man

You can add rice and applesauce if you want.
Hope you feel better.
