"Obviously, looking at their records Alabama should win the game, but you can throw out records when Alabama and Auburn play," [Alabama] Gov. Robert Bentley said.
The governor speaks the truth. This Auburn team has already set several records. aTm broke the record for the most points ever scored in JHS. We are also on the verge of being the first Auburn team to go winless in the SEC in a season.
I expect us to set several new Iron Bowl records this Saturday: fewest yards gained. Fewest first downs achieved. Most sacks given. Most yards surrendered. Most points yielded. Most lopsided score ever recorded. etc, etc, etc. You can definitely throw out the record book.

The gall is definitely still there...5 cents to hedge for taking advantage of the hanging curveball.
A loss would set a record for most conference losses in a season. We were 1-7 in 1998, with the only win being over a Tuberville coached Ole Miss. We did go winless in the SEC in 1980 at 0-6. That season featured a 42-0 home loss to Tennessee and a seventh consecutive loss to Alabama, which sealed Barfield's fate.

I would ask if there's any hope of getting some help to reach the SEC championship game...but I know there isn't any.

According to multiple sources, NCAA investigators have been working for weeks on potential improprieties involving Auburn recruits, players, coaches, representatives of the school's athletic interests and third parties. Assistant coaches Trooper Taylor and Curtis Luper have been scrutinized by the NCAA, sources said. Taylor is the assistant head coach and wide receivers coach, while Luper coaches running backs and is the recruiting coordinator.

Yeah, I heard. I hope nothing comes of it. The NCAA is horrible and needs to be disbanded.

Trooper and Luper are about 72 hours away from being unemployed.
OMG, I hope we won't have to vacate all three of our wins this season!

I think they are full of shit, but some of our fans are talking about possibly being able to flip Reuben Foster.

I figured that the REC would keep their powder dry until late in the recruiting season, when these kinds of rumors can have more decisive effect on players they really want, like Foster and Liner.

Once the Big 4 Conferences each amass 16 teams, the end of the NCAA will be near. You watch.

Once the NCAA is out of the way, it will be like the '70's again. All the players in Texas will be driving around in Trans Am's, and all the players in Nebraska will grow three hat and shoe sizes in college.

Usually the REC does this during recruiting season, but they must have decided to drop this now to scare off any decent coaching candidates.

I told you the Troopa and Loopa show needed to be cancelled. Chizik is the only thing that's kept this team together at all.

Troopa and Loopa are the only reason our next coach will have plenty of talent to work with.
IIRC, you said Auburn had not hit rock bottom because we weren't hit with probation and poor recruiting. The NCAA part may be coming true. And the departure of Troop and Loop, along with a horrible season, will kill the recruiting part.
