If a guy like Jeff Bagwell can't get in the Hall of Fame, then what's the point of having it at all?

I agree. If they don't put in Bagwell this year, then he won't get in imo.

Bagwell doesn't deserve the HOF. Nobody who used steroids does.

There is absolutely no evidence that Bagwell used steroids. NONE.

That's not the perception among voters.

I don't know what people want from Jeff Bagwell. He had a perfectly normal career arc, his best seasons were from age 26-32 followed by a decline in both pure power and overall production before injury ended his career. Almost all of the "Hall of Fame" level roiders put up their best seasons after age 33-34. He was big I guess, and maybe he used steroids, but there certainly is no real evidence that he used. He also wasn't a pure power player. He was one of the best instinctive baserunners of his generation, and had some speed. Was great with the glove, and had a good arm before he was hurt. He was a plus rated with all 5 tools.

He looked like a juicer. Case closed.

I suspect the writers will make Bagwell and Biggio split attention on their HoF induction rather than each having their own day. Of course Rat probably thinks Biggio wont get in either.

Biggio was a cheating little shitface.

Biggio won't get in either. Sorry. At least you used "maybe" when you were talking about Bagwell and roids.

There were three posts before your laughable reply. Which two do you feel are laughable?

As a non-steroid-taking 3B, Chipper has HoF numbers.

I can see Chipper making it in 5-10 years from now. He was good but not good enough for these times.
