Holy shit, the SEC is bound and determined to destroy FSU. The cannot forgive them for interrupting their streak.

SEC? Nah. 13 of the 14 fan bases in the SEC were pulling for the Noles.

All so-called SEC 'rivalries' are forgotten when bowl season comes around.

No. Nothing good comes from AU winning a championship, nothing. The average Auburn fan is a poor loser and a worse winner.

The only team besides Bama I would want to win a bowl game is a Vandy or a Kentucky. The rest can rot.

Gators were rooting for AU, so that's two. I suspect the majority of the rest of the non-Bama fanbases were chanting SEC! SEC!

Well, Gators excluded, of course. Their hatred for the Noles trumps AU hatred.

dang AA, foxsports picked up on that 'point shaving' blog you referenced - imagine that...just in time for ESPN to run with it during Gameday tomorrow

Well, it was making the rounds. But there is no one left on the Nole sched that has a chance to win.

The way we've played this year, in combination with Jameis throwing some INTs for his boys' wallets, makes me nervous about every game from here on out.

UVA - should be a relatively easy win, but we pissed this game away two years ago when we should have won. Add in their relative success against good teams like Louisville and UCLA, makes me feel like we could lose if not sharp.

Miami (of FL) - they've been playing much better and their true freshman QB seems to be growing up. Duke Johnson is one of the best RBs in America, and the OL has toughened up recently. There will be at least 10,000 rabid Hurricane fans at this one.

Boston College - easily the most overlookable game remaining, but Addazio has his team playing well in big games and they played us very tough last year. If they can beat Louisville this weekend, this becomes a much better looking team.

Florida - if they can dominate UGA without even trying to pass, how effective does play action become with our unbelievably depleted LB corps?

Duke (most likely) - Cutcliffe hates Jimbo, and we'll get their best shot. They have a better resume than many in the top 15 right now (I'm looking at you, anOSU), and are well coached.

Now SHOULD we win out? Absolutely, but our defense is utterly depleted with injuries though we should get some guys back soon. Also, we might get our Center back in a couple of weeks...he sucks, but he's better than the RS FR we're trotting out now.

Forget about Miami, they got massacred by Louisville. Trasitive property and all, you will have no trouble with the Canes.

I think the biggest question mark game is Florida. Here we have a coach who is coaching every game as if it were his last. That performance against Georgia was incredible, kids playing over their heads to protect the job of one very desperate head coach whom they love. And now they believe that they can win every game. His team is easily the most talented team (from an athletic standpoint) that FSU has left on its schedule. Duke, UVa, and BC field a team full of two-star recruits.

There will not be another team left on your schedule that could challenge you outside of Florida.

"1 or 2, especially this early, just doesn't matter."

Kinda like special teams!

Special teams matter. They always have. You can misremember any quote of mine you wish. Just try not to be tedious and repetitive. You're better than that, hedge.
