We have been very fortunate. Smoke and mirrors.

4 turnovers by Bama and 10 penalties....this could have been ugly. Looks like we'll hang on.

Hanging on= 42-21 with 600+ yards Of offense while the defense holds under 200 yards

Sandbagging requires a strong team to start with. Now excuse me while I go read AA's posts about this game a week ago.

I could cut and paste the previous 2 weeks - same tepid OLine, same inconsistent defense, same QB limitations, same great punter. The only difference was the opposition - a bottom tier MAC team, a lower tier SEC team and a Top 10 caliber SEC team. The rest of the sched pretty much dictates this year's results.

UF opens as a 1 point favorite on Tenny. Thanks a freaking lot bookies. Give the Vals a little chip on their shoulder to add to 9 years of frustration. What I saw of them against UGha does not bode well for us.

It's UT, the Gators can trip all over themselves and still win. UT just isn't that good.

UT is just a bunch of fired up youngins, but are you saying UF is good?

Nope. Just a bit better.

Kentucky wasn't that good and it took a lucky break to beat them at home.
UF litterally tripped all over themselves against Ga Southern last year and we saw how that turned out.
Now Leon Orr and Mike Taylor are out. Not that they were all-sec players, but what is replacing them right up the middle of the defense will be a cut lower. Did I hear Tenny has a good smash mouth RB? Hell they could bring back Randy Sanders to coach the offense in this game and do well.

The battle for 4th and 5th place in the SEC East - not quite the same oomph as in other years. More than a few folks who haven't shown much yet need to emerge for UF to win this one.
