Here we couldn't convict OJ, in Italy apparently you can say that some dude's kitchen knife is the murder weapon at a trial, have that be completely trashed as testimony says "uh, theres no DNA on this knife, and most wounds were made by a smaller knife" and that doesn't even kill your case.

Are we really to believe that they murdered the girl with some black dude that they may not have even known, and then hemmed and hawed around saying they didn't know who did it before implicating some other dude that had nothing to do with it. They would've just said, "uh I think that black dude did it!"

Also, Knox may be the pretty girl but that's not who I feel sorry for. I feel sorry for the Italian boyfriend who cannot run away to the US and is basically getting this shit thrown all over him because he was Knox's boyfriend (and that dumb bitch couldn't even handle interrogation) and they've managed to make him fit into their puzzle.

Meh, I read about it back when it was all going on and just took a refresher to see if I was wrong back then. I didn't even know that they had just gotten convicted again until wondering what you were talking about. I would say that if the Italian cops had tasered somebody then you would probably be slightly above me on the fired up scale.

I just thought it was interesting that almost universally Americans feel that Knox was railroaded, but Dershowitz is on the BBC saying he's seen people in jail for less

Don't know much about the case except we have an extradition treaty with Italy and that this is not a case of double jeopardy.

As for Snowden, he gets whistleblower protection for releasing of excessive spying on Americans. He should go to jail for releasing information on our spying of foreign countries. I can distinguish between the two

U.S. officials blamed Moscow for the Internet leak of recordings of Assistant Secretary of State Victoria Nuland and the U.S. ambassador in Kiev discussing a possible future government for Ukraine, where Washington and Brussels back anti-Kremlin demonstrators.
Who would have thought the Russians are intercepting phone calls?

Two of Russia's most famous Olympians, three-time gold medalists Irina Rodnina and Vladislav Tretiak, were the country's final torchbearers. Both have unique ties to U.S. President Barack Obama — one more offensive than the other.

An Olympic figure skating gold medalist in 1972, '76 and '80, Rodnina came under fire for what many perceived as racism in September, when she posted a photo on Twitter of the commander in chief and first lady Michelle Obama with a digitally manipulated image of a hand holding a banana superimposed over the couple.

Rodnina's darker than Obama, well, Barack at least.

He broke the law, but it is not treason. The punishment for what he did is not as severe.

Giving govt secrets to your enemies or friends? Johnathan Pollard is still in jail and that was to Israel. This was the Soviet Union and more.

how secret is it if they do the same thing to Americans?

they were spying on American phones, but they wouldn't dare do that to anyone else.

like other countries wouldn't connect the dots? Admittedly I'm not thrilled with the idea of him letting that information out but I'm so pissed at my government that I really don't give a shit. He is a hero to me and many other Americans. I believe he will receive amnesty in the future and these people in government that are quietly saying he should be murdered will be run off. Not today, not tomorrow but as more Americans become fed up with a government that has people who believe they are untouchable decide to start acting on it.
