Hedge I did the math for you shortly after Martin released his "report" It was something along the lines of 216 fraud classes averaging 40% athlete enrollment with 30 people per class. 216 classes times 12 (40% enrollment) equals 2592 cases of academic fraud since 1997. In addition there were over 500 instances of unauthorized grade changes in the afam department over the same time period. For some reason Martin didnt ask who's grades were changed and if an athlete's grades were changed did the change affect his/her's eligibility.

DS is right. It was only $20. Not sure why though. Always thought it was $50.

Is hedge really playing 2 brackets? If so, we dont really know what Hedge's 2nd bracket says. I looked up his id, and his bracket that is not in our group (hedge2) is only in the 19th percentile, somehow even worse than the one that is in our group, but without a way to know who he picked as champion, I cant say if he could still beat DS or not.

"In the minds of most IC posters hundreds of fake classes keeping thousands of athletes eligible for decades is a perfectly acceptable practice at U*NC"
"Hedge I did the math for you shortly after Martin released his "report" It was something along the lines of 216 fraud classes averaging 40% athlete enrollment with 30 people per class. 216 classes times 12 (40% enrollment) equals 2592 cases of academic fraud since 1997."
Even if your math is correct, which I highly doubt, you are still confusing (or deliberately lying in order to make UNC look bad and yourself feel better) "cases" (i.e., each individual incidence) of academic fraud and thousands of individual athletes who, by your claim, at least, could only be kept eligible by taking these classes. If each athlete stayed an average of 3 years, taking a minimum of 2 of those classes per semester, that's 12 classes per student/athlete during their tenure at UNC over about a 13 year period. So divide your wildly inflated 2592 "cases" by 12 and you get 216 individuals, and then divide that over 13 years and it's 16 "cases" per year. I would guess a more reasonable assessment would start with half, at minimum, of the number you came up with, so that's 8 athletes per year who may or may not have benefited from these classes. Oooooooo, worst academic scandal in college history!!! OOOooooOOOoooooOOooooooO!!!!!!!!!

My math comes straight from the Martin report. you're just making up some arbitrary numbers. Hell, there was one fraud class of 18 students, all of which were football or basketball players. We also dont know may of the other "students" in the fraud classes were baseball players, softball, womens soccer, manages or girlfriends. Some of the students were former players back to get their degrees and help U*NC's APR.
Try this math...2592 cases divided by 10 years 1997 to 2007 and you get 260 cases of academic fraud per year. 60 per semester or summer session. Thats 20 football players taking two fraud classes and 5 basketball players taking 4 each.
Hell, lets remove all doubt. Let's have an independent investigation where someone that has no ties to the State of North Carolina or U*NC can come in and really figure out what happened. That's all I've asked for. Let's get the guy that investigated Penn State. If he says everything is kosher I'll believe him and will not only shut up but will apologize for my slander.
Yes, this is the worst academic fraud in NCAA history. Name one other instance that even comes close to this. Name one.

Not instantly. If you link your checking account to it, then when you get payments from these knuckleheads, it will just sit there. Then you can transfer to your bank from there. Depending on Paypal and your bank, it can take 1-3 days and such.

"Thats 20 football players taking two fraud classes"
Wow, 2 whole "fraud" classes per year being the only thing that kept them eligible? And, IIRC, Julius Peppers got a C in one of his AfAm courses. Yep, it must've really been "all" those AfAm courses "all" those athletes were "always" taking that kept them on the field or the court. LMAO...

"Yes, this is the worst academic fraud in NCAA history. Name one other instance that even comes close to this. Name one."
Did you get a degree from any accredited trade school, college or university? If so, I'll go with that as a much grosser case of academic fraud than everything UNC has ever done in toto...
