Travel Question for the masses....
I have been notified that I am going to spend New Year's Eve in Las Vegas. Apparently, they shut the strip down early that evening and open it only to pedestrians. My question is this: where should I stand to get the best view of the fireworks and when should I get there?
kthxbye

I was on the Vegas strip for New Year's Eve in 1999. And I partied like it was 1999. Actually, I was going thru withdrawals which I tried to quell with Exstasy and champagne. It didn't work...

Put some fiber in your diets. Jesus christ, not that tough. A Fiber One bar in the morning along with some raw spinach at some point in the day makes the train run on time for BigRedMan.

I trust you are measuring time in glacial terms, considering the topic. Which begs the question: When does the next Dookie Age begin?

At every casino, up and down the strip, they have fireworks. I am not interested in being shot in the face or groin by fireworks, but thank you.

Mecca as in Metzger? I was thinking about him this morning when I heard a report of North Korea sending up some kind of satellite that is now spinning out of control. My thought was that Metzger was kinda like the North Korea of the internet....

The beauty of North Korean technology is that all they have to do is nail the part visible to spectators. After that, their media will cover all the subsequent success of what they are doing.

North Korea is so fucked up that even the Chinese can't control them. They are the Gyp Rosette of Asia
