Looks as if Stein, Goodwin and Poythress are all going to declare for the draft (insert laugh here) which should make more playing time available for Wiggins. TBH, I would just as soon have Gordon as Wiggins but looks as if he's going to be on the West Coast.
I think Stein is, at this point I still think Goodwin and Poythress return. Maybe its wishful thinking on my part but Hood is apparently either leaving or going academic scholarship, Polson will revert to walk-on or not return and Wiltjer/Harrow are up in the air but have games in their future where they get zero minutes.

.......and Ashley Judd has decided not to run for the US Senate. No doubt her tweet last week saying "Go Cards" angered too many Kentucky voters. Lots of anger thrown her way from UK fans. You just don't do stupid stuff like that in this state.

Some guy at KSTV named Beisner is saying that Hawkins from Madison Central has been offered a scholly from Calipari. Cal met with him yesterday... If true, that means he's already told either Witjer or Harrow to find another school.

heard that too. Considering he is a serviceable point guard, that means Cal has no intention of Harrow ever getting meaningful minutes.

Question eCat -- After the loss to Robert Morris, Cal vented saying that he will never again allow a player to hijack the program. Which player or players was he referring to??? Wiljer, Harrow, Poythress, Goodwin or all of the above?

Stein says he's staying at Kentucky. At least that's what he's saying today.

don't know really but all of them could fit - Cal said one or more players told him 'you don't understand my game' and he had little choice but to deal with it having no bench. At first I thought it was Goodwin but the more I understand Goodwin the more I believe the kid just tried (unsuccessfully) to put the team on his back because he understood they were dysfunctional and with Harrow or Polson at the point they weren't going to win many games. Harrow, Poythress and Wiltjer all have bad personality types for what Cal is trying to do. They are passive and aren't vocal leaders. But I suspect anyone that needed a heart monitor mid season to tell them they weren't playing hard enough is who he is talking about.

That's cool. We will hire Josh Pastner. It will take appriximately six seconds to ink that one.

+1
I dont get it
whats the protocol when a college coach falls out with a recruit?
the obvious answer is burying a kid at the bottom of the depth chart
as far as I knew, if the kid is there on scholly, and they dont want to go, then there's nothing you can do about it
some posts read like Cal is running a pro franchise, where player contracts get waived like in the NBA

Sure it will. At least Xavier is well represented even if it only took getting past The Little Sisters & The Poor & Pittsburgh Deaf Community College in the first two rounds.

Man, Syracuse looks like they're hell bent on some NCAA tourney highlights vs. Indiana that don't include Keith Smart in a pair of nuthuggers. IU better get this lead down to a manageable level before halftime or they're going down.
