Who besides the scorned Cavs fans hates? Mockery and gloating over someone elses failure isn't hate, it's just fun...

Rat, I'll let Simmons explain it...
That's what you do when you're surrounded by enablers — you blame everyone else, and you never look within. He never understood that people only rooted against him because that's what you do when someone boasts before they've ever actually done anything.
Let's say you're in college and one of your buddies says, "See that girl over there? I'm taking her home tonight. And I'm doing this because I'm the funniest and best-looking guy in this room." And let's say he's COMPLETELY serious. Guess what you're doing if it doesn't happen? You're making fun of him. Relentlessly. Really, that's what 50 percent of the Miami-related vitriol was about; the other 50 percent was because LeBron tried to stack the deck by playing with his biggest rival (we didn't respect it), and because he broke Cleveland's hearts on national TV (we didn't like it). To this day, LeBron hasn't shown any real regret about last summer; that's the main reason everyone rooted against him.

Still don't get it. The guy left Cleveland for a better chance. They made the finals. Cleveland didn't surround him with enough players to have that chance. That's on ownership.

yea I don't get it really either.
I think alot of it is media driven because they are salivating at the idea of having a villian that isn't really a bad guy.
Lebron is still a kid really and is going to say and do stuff that young men do, but its not like he is raping someone in colorado or brining guns into the locker room.
He wanted a bigger stage, he wanted to celebrate being on the bigger stage and he had a network (ESPN that is now crucifying him) that catered to a young man's ego. I can't see why Cleveland fans are pissed. The guy gave them their shot, got them to the finals, played for the home team and then decided it was time to move on.
The Cleveland owner is a dick, and he is making out Lebron to be a giant turd because its obvious that after Lebron left the team he assembled was a low budget collection of malcontents.
I don't particularly like or dislike Lebron but hating the guy seems extreme to me. I don't subscribe to the idea that the rest of America outside of Miami wants him to fail. If anything I was getting sick of Los Angeles, Phil Jackson and Kobe. I'm glad that team will suck for a few years.
