Eli Manning would be the starting QB on at least 7 teams right now.

Geno Smith? WTF

The Dantard will overpay for Eli this spring after Cousins walks.

Kiffin is clearly a graduate of the Donald Trump School of Advanced Tweetology. He has mastered the art of giving the middle finger to people he doesn’t like in 140 characters or less.

Except that Kiffin doesn't come across as someone's racist uncle ranting at the Thanksgiving table. There's a difference.

yep, Kiffin didn't beat out the best candidates both the Republican and Democratic parties had to win the presidency.

"yep, Kiffin didn't beat out the best candidates both the Republican and Democratic parties had to win the presidency."

Neither did Trump, but that wasn't his fault...

you have to run to be a candidate

sitting on the sidelines because you're above getting in the mud doesn't serve the nation.

The reason Trump is president is he ran against the worst candidate in US history. ANYBODY other than a blatant lying greedy career criminal would have beaten Trump handily.

I want UT to offer Lane Kiffin a boatload of money to take the job just because they are so desperate

Why not Peyton Mannng? Everybody would LOVE him. Even if it was only for a year or two, he could bring some stability and credibility back to that dumpster fire.

You have to have a passion for that - its a 70 hour a week job in the offseason

There's about as much chance of Manning coaching at Tennessee as there is of Michael Jordan coaching at UNC...

UNC is nowhere near as pathetic and desperate as UT. In fact, UNC is the opposite of UT.

Peyton could be a figurehead coach, with, say, 30 hours worth of responsibilities. He could bring back John Chavis as DC David Cutcliff or Randy Sanders at OC, and let them do all the work. It would be like Jake and Elwood putting the band back together.

Supposedly Peyton Manning recommended Greg Schiano for the UT job. Wonder how Vol fans feel about that?
