I was surprised to see Rogers' career earnings at only $26 mil. That's alot of money, of course, but he had a 12 year NBA career, so that only averages out to about $2 mil a year. Not that he was an allstar or anything, but he was a solid 15 ppg/6 rpg guy in his prime and it's not like it was in the 1980's. I would've thought he was making way more than that...

Rodney was a great college player. May have been a little short to dominate the NBA like he did college.

He certainly wasn't the same type of force in the league as he was in college, but he was a solid NBA starter caliber player, certainly in his prime. I'm just amazed that he never made more than $2-3 mil a year, ever. And this is not ancient history we're talking about here, this is within the last 10 years. Anyway, he did earn $26 mil over his career, that's nothing to sneeze at...

What's the take here on Louisville this year? They look really good to me heading into the tourney.

Louieville can certainly win it all... great speed on defense. Depends on Russ Smith. When he's clicking, they're almost unbeatable. Pitino turns it up a notch during tourney games. Could easily bring another championship to the Bluegrass.

I really don't have a gauge on Big 10 schools - they are all pretty good, they are all flawed, and Indiana is mostly just a bunch of sissy fags but I wouldn't be surprised to see two big 10 schools in the final four.

Crotch -- I guess that'd be sorta fitting for the Cards to win it all, given that our euphoria from 2009 was ruined by dook* backing into a title during a down year for college basketball in 2010.

Much to the chagrin of UK fans, who couldn't manage to get to the FF in said down year with a team that had head and shoulders more talent than anybody else in the country. Somewhat like 1998 for us (where UK got to play the same role as Dook did in 2010, with weak Stanford and Utah teams playing the Butler and Michigan St. roles)...

Wish BC could've pulled that off...

TBH, wouldn't bother me a bit if Louieville won it all....sure beats any of those other 1 seeds. Would love to see Okie State with Travis Ford cut down the nets but they don't have the horses.

Of course, I will not be surprised in the least if we get beat by FSU, or even blown out. Anybody can beat anybody this year. Hell, BC gave Miami a game today. Almost all of the "top" teams have 5+ losses this year. They know how to lose, even against mediocre teams. The tourny is wide open this year. I don't think a complete dog is going to win it all and maybe not even make a deep run, but some real dogs are going to ostensibly upset some ostensibly good teams. They might not complete a run, but there are going to be plenty of lower seeds beating higher seeds. I'll say it again, NCState is a legit FF team this year. I won't be surprised in the least if they make the FF or if they lose in the first round. Truth be told, I can say the same thing about UNC. If UK hadn't lost Noel, I would say the same thing about them. It's just that kind of year...
