buddy of mine just reminded me DeAndre is a lefty... makes it even sicker

I also listened to a podcast where skip bayless argues that Miami should really be holding the title "lob city" .... so much for that

Quoting Skip is a big time FAIL.

it's becoming a bad month for Calipari PG's

1st - Derrick Rose is medically cleared to play NBA games & has scrimmaged 5-on-5 but he is refusing to return to the active lineup. He's making MAX dollars & his brother ran his mouth on talk radio claiming Derrick may not return at all this year. Go to any Bull fan forum right now and it's a veritable shytfest

2nd - Brandon Knight get sraped & pillaged trying to defend DeAndre Jordan's allez-oop

3rd - this :
John Wall has not lived up to the hype that came along with the expectations he was placed under after being the No. 1 pick in the 2010 Draft, but he will be eligible for a contract extension this offseason as he enters the final year of his rookie deal.

And in Wall's eyes, he is a max player and worth that contract from the Washington Wizards.

"I feel like I am. I do, definitely," Wall said.

Anybody who didn't know Wall would be a bust is an idiot.

"2nd - Brandon Knight get sraped & pillaged trying to defend DeAndre Jordan's allez-oop"

In fairness to Knight, it didn't look like he was trying to block the dunk, it looks like he was trying to intercept the lob. By the time DeAndre snagged it (and was still elevating), Knight was on his way down. It was a sick dunk, though...

"Anybody who didn't know Wall would be a bust is an idiot."

I wouldn't say Wall has been a bust, but he's certainly not been anywhere close to one of the better #1 picks that I can remember. Certainly not one of the worst, either, but nothing amazing...

Finally, as for the most hated, I guess Rick Fox's inclusion is mitigated slightly by the fact that he's a lowly 7 seed, but I had no sense that that guy was hated by anybody. Montross as a 4 seed seems a bit high as well. Not saying he was particularly likeable, but with his lobotomized Frankenstein court demeanor, it's hard for me to see how anybody could actively hate him. Likewise, while I can see how opposing fans could find Hansbrow annoying and perhaps even deserving of a middling hate seed in his bracket, I can't see him as a 1 seed. He gets destroyed by almost anybody in the Dook bracket as well as lower seeds in any of the others (Reggie Miller, Derrick Coleman, Joakim Noah). I have to say, the 90's bracket is the weakest. I never regarded any of those guys as particularly hateful. For some reason, Calbert Cheney stands out, but he's a lowly 8 seed, so maybe I'm misremembering...

My favorite part of the dunk is the dude on the bench doing the Fred Sanford heart attack walk...

One guy at the end of the bench doesn't even try to celebrate, he just collapses on the floor and rolls onto his back...

I don't remember Montross being particularly hateable. Matter of fact, the only thing I remember about Montross was the cut on his face and bleeding. Rick Fox is probably more hateable for his life after college. Good to see that Duke has its own bracket though.

It's one thing when a 7 foot guy dunks on a 6 foot guy, but it's something else when a 6 foot guy (Ty Lawson) dunks on a 7 foot guy...

How in the hell did the NBA allow those two uniform combinations on the floor at once?

Oh yeah, I remember that. That was one of the years we won the championship...one of DJ's two chips with the Lakers.
