Re: UCLA Bruins
Jesus Christ, I've wanted to kill myself just about every day for the past 5 years or more. Probably 15 years actually. Maybe 25 or 30. Fuck it, since I was 15. I'm surprised more people don't. I keep hearing a voice in my head that tells me I better not do it because I'll be in deep shit with God. Like grounded for a few millennia.
Although if I get cancer or some debilitating disease, I'm not sticking around for that. I don't have health insurance and barely enough money to pay my bills these days much less fix my house so I don't plan on seeking medical care or try to get by on opioids. That's when I tell God, "Look, Motherfucker, I don't give a fuck what You say, I ain't going through that shit." Plus, my wife would have to take care of me and that would be a nightmare unto itself.
But that's unlikely to happen. I'll be 61 Friday and am probably in as good of a shape as I've been since I was 15. If anything I'm too thin. I walk the dog probably 2-4 miles every goddamn day. I work every goddamn day and, despite destroying my stomach lining with a half gallon of coffee every day and my gums with THCA vapes, I feel like I could whip just about anyone's ass. I know I couldn't really but it feels good knowing they would have to kill me to stop me.
Nah, I'm fucking here for at least 30 more years, goddammit, and this place is starting to suck majorly. My biggest problem is going to keep from killing someone that's not myself. Or a few million of y'all. I have done something somewhere (probably my attitude) to piss off God and have Him put me here in this life. But that's OK because He knows what sort of motherfucker I am and if He wanted it, I would have ceased to exist a long time ago, but here I fucking am.
So enjoy what you can when you can, bitches.

Yes! I saw that clip and sent it to some buddies. Pollak is money as a guest on Eisen. The Nicholson and Don Rickles stories are amazing too.eCat wrote: ↑Sun Oct 18, 2026 12:11 pm I'm watching clips from the Rich Eisen show, he has Kevin Pollak on and Rich asks him - who is the wildest actor you ever worked with
Pollak says "Rip Torn, and its not even close". Whatever movie they were making, they actors were all staying at the same hotel and Rip Torn was going thru some prostitutes , and he was loud about it, so they started talking about what they'd hear while he was yelling at them. They started comprising a top 10 list. Pollak said he doesn't remember all of them but the number one thing they heard Torn yell at a prostitute (from inside his hotel room) was "I SAID TO MILK IT LIKE A COW!"
I proudly took AFAM 040 at Carolina.

Re: UCLA Bruins
I have mentioned it before but watching 3 Billboards Outside Ebbing Missouri changed me on suicide.
Woody Harrelson's character had cancer and once it was to the point where he was going to be a burden on his family, he took his life in the most unobtrusive way possible.
If God punishes a man for doing that and denies him entrance into heaven, then man should curse God for inflicting cancer upon him.

I like the stinky pinky but only up to the first knuckle, I do not want a GD thumb up there--I've told her multiple times and I always catch her when she tries to pull a fast one---it's my butthole for Chrissakes I'm gonna know--so cut out the BS.

I still haven’t watched that movie…it’s been on my DVR for a long time, I just haven’t made time for it…
The older I get the more I pretty much hate every cocksucker that is making decisions in this world and all of the idiots that root for political parties like sports teams. — aTm

Re: UCLA Bruins
I have been pretty healthy until a few years ago. Hardly ever got sick, still not feeling too bad. 5'10", 190lbs. Not fit, but not vastly overweight, either. This past Spring I went to the doctor and she informs me I have hypertension. My blood pressure was 193/85. Said I had a 25% chance of a heart attack or stroke in the next 10 years? What does that mean? That's probably everyone's odds. So, I need a scan. Get a scan. Found out I have a slightly enlarged aorta. Referred me to a heart specialist. Nothing serious, just need to monitor. With that scan they noticed I had spot on my kidney. Had to go to another scan. Nothing major, just have to monitor. With that they found some spots on my lung. Nothing major just need to monitor. THey want me to run three scans every year at about $3K a pop. Fuck all this. I ain't going no more and I'm not taking any medication. Let the chips fall wherever.
At our age you don't off yourself because you don't want your family to have to go through that, but we've walked down the street at night a few times, and thought to ourselves, if someone tried to rob me at gunpoint, right now, they would have made a serious miscalculation of how important that gun was...

I don't think that thinking is scriptural. Organized religion made up that one.eCat wrote: ↑Mon Oct 19, 2026 2:34 pm I have mentioned it before but watching 3 Billboards Outside Ebbing Missouri changed me on suicide.

Catholicism, you are going to hell. Priest will even refuse to dignify how you died during the funeral. Denial of eternal damnation to spare the feelings for the survivors.
Orthodox Christianity or any Protestant sect, if you accepted Christ beforehand, you are saved.
Mormons? You can be redeemed after death in a Temple. And actually, the LDS have no real taboo against suicide. I'll add, theirs is a religion that believe in blood atonements!
Islam? Muslims have an ORGASM just before they fly the planes into the towers. Virgins are on the way!

Every time I see this being used I think back to the good old days of the goat pen. Before IB & Tree.

had that amnesia episode, and as a result of all these tests they did (which I don't remember any of) they found a lump in my lung, which is a result of a mold spore from hiking in the Eastern United States but not before they told me were concerned it was a tumor, its appears to be quite common but of course I had to go thru all these tests, they also scanned my brain and found a hairline area that was unresponsive which the doctor said was caused from high blood pressure, about 3 years before I passed blood in my urine - now most likely from a kidney stone but I went to the doctor and they did about $12K worth of test and scared me to the point I was convinced I had bladder cancer. That scare took a few years off my life all for nothing because I ended up with a false positive test. Ended up getting a second opinion and the doctor shit all over the first one, told me he was a hack and never go back to him.
