there are worse ways to go, like falling off a roller coaster and having the last moments of your life photographed in a souvenir photo
I like the stinky pinky but only up to the first knuckle, I do not want a GD thumb up there--I've told her multiple times and I always catch her when she tries to pull a fast one---it's my butthole for Chrissakes I'm gonna know--so cut out the BS.

Lost a good one back when I was 20. Still hurts. Had a half cousin do it. I know of a few others in my time. It's always shocking.

My best friend buried his 18 year old daughter to suicide. He had no idea how much pain she was in.

It’s a pain no one forgets or ever truly understands. When I was 10, I had an aunt (by marriage) who shot herself on the 4th of July in 1977. My uncle was in bed asleep in the same room. Two cousins (both boys a little older than me) didn’t even wake up (modest ranch home, which makes it almost unbelievable). I saw them last year. To this day, neither one has brought up their Mother to me.

Makes sense. Its too painful to talk about.

My daughter went to a very small charter school for high school. Just 80 students in the graduating class. They have already buried two of her 79 classmates to suicide. I don't know what the fuck is going on, but this is an epidemic. Its nationwide, maybe worldwide, certainly western worldwide. And no one wants to take any serious action to try and stop it.

In the late 1950s and early 1960s, we noticed an epidemic of married women (only married women) committing suicide. The diagnosis was marital unhappiness. Someone had to do something! To fix that, California created the very first no-fault-divorce law which ruined the sacrament of marriage forever BUT allowed unhappily married women the right to divorce their husbands and collect cash and prizes. We killed marriage but saved unhappily married women. We have no diagnosis right now as to why all these children are ending their lives.

Suicide is the cause of death for 2% of all deaths on the planet. One in fifty deaths, suicide. Now in most cases, those are very old people who get some dreadful diagnosis (you got Cancer, got 6 moths left to live, and all 6 months will be very painful and uncomfortable filled with chemo and vomiting and lying in bed on opioids.) And the elderly are like, fuck it, they kill themselves and beg for God's mercy when they go meet Him. But we know the reason why.

With the kids, we don't.

What I find interesting, purely from a sociological level, is that poor people that die, suicide being the cause of death is far less than the 2% overall rate but 4% of the deaths of wealthy people are suicide. I think the reason there is plainly obvious. They are probably not wealthy anymore and they can't live not being wealthy.

I also had a second cousin kill his wife & himself on Thanksgiving while sitting at the same table as his parents. They left & we watched the whole thing on the news. Late 70s I believe. That one always slips my mind.

I'm watching clips from the Rich Eisen show, he has Kevin Pollak on and Rich asks him - who is the wildest actor you ever worked with

Pollak says "Rip Torn, and its not even close". Whatever movie they were making, they actors were all staying at the same hotel and Rip Torn was going thru some prostitutes , and he was loud about it, so they started talking about what they'd hear while he was yelling at them. They started comprising a top 10 list. Pollak said he doesn't remember all of them but the number one thing they heard Torn yell at a prostitute (from inside his hotel room) was "I SAID TO MILK IT LIKE A COW!"

Okay so I watched You Can See Everything this morning. Is it worth it, worth spending 3 hours of your life to watch this comedy, horror, documentary? Short answer, yes. Outstanding movie. Not only will it be nominated for several academy awards, I expect it will win one or two. Now having said that let me say this, do NOT watch the movie until you watched the entire Amanda Seyfried mini-series The Dropout. You will not understand half of the 3 hours of this movie unless you watch that entire mini-series first. Its kind of, a pre-requisite.
