I may have made a post at some point talking about how I was installing and switching to a new captcha system to weed out spambots and how I had high hopes for it. Nothing happened and we still had as many bots as before, but while jacking with the board I realized that I never turned it on. Since then I dont think any spambots have signed up...

Were you serious about trying to get yahoo messenger to stop popping up on your yahoo email screen? It's hard for me to believe that there wouldn't be an easy way to disable that. I'm not trying to get rid of yahoo messenger, I just don't want it to be attached to my email...

Yes, right now i have a box that flashes and about 10 different "girls" with add requests and messages that say "Hi! Please add me to your Yahoo! Messenger contact list so we can chat. Thanks!"

Go up to Options>Messenger Options at the top and I think thats where any easy thing to turn it off would be but I dont see how, so I just live with the flashing box. Thankfully I check my mail in Mail on my Mac or on my phone so I dont have to venture there very often to see it.

Yeah, but my problem is that I'm on a work network, and under normal conditions, if somebody sends me an IM, the box at the bottom of the screen flashes and I notice it and check the message. But if I have my email open in a window, it flashes on the that tab at the top of the screen, and I may not even be on the internet at the moment, so I don't see it. It's very inconvenient...

Can I download a video off of youtube? My mom is trying to show some video for her book club, but the lady's house where she's doing it doesn't have internet downstairs (and I'm sure they've never heard of wi-fi), so the only way she can show it is if I download it to her harddrive. I can't see anywhere on youtube that has a "download this video" option. What should I do?

use Mozilla and get an add-on that allows allows you to download youtube videos.

its free and pretty easy to do once its installed.

Installing isn't difficult

Google estimates that we made $0.25 today. A daily rate that would give us $90 per year, only about $30 shy of our yearly expenses.

I'll cover that $30 for the next 20 years if you kill wiz. Slowly.

I checked the stats and today's estimated earnings are already $0.45. That much per day would actually turn a profit and we could actually pay back donations.

I'd rather we hire a hooker.

AMP it up and maybe we can have a Goat Vegas paid for as far as rooms go at least.

Jonquil will be delighted to hear that. He's been hanging out at the Hilton sports book waiting for us to arrive since 2006...

What does jailbroken mean? The MIF's sneaky youngest daughter sabatoged her old phone so she could get an iPhone, and now the MIF wants to put a keylogger on it so she can keep up with her shenannigans. Here's what I found, but again (last sentence) what is jailbroken and what is Cydia?

"iKeyMonitor is the only Keylogger for iPhone/iPad/iPodTouch with the features of Keystrokes, websites, screenshots logging and email/FTP delivery. iKeyMonitor can be installed on any Jail-broken iOS devices. Please make sure your iOS device is jail-broken and have Cydia for easy installation."

Jailbroken means that the phones operating system is cleared of the normal shackles placed on it by the manufacturer and service provider. It allows it to be modified more freely, but voids your warranty, and I don't recommend jail reaming for someone who doesn't know what jail breaking even means.

C'mon. It's not like Hedge hasn't been reamed in jail before.
