Also, which of the users "the Original Hizzy" and "Hizzy III" is Horn Hizzy and which is Gator Hizzy?
They're both pointing the finger at each other, as no one could remember the moniker we had originally chosen for this place. A command decision had to be made by the EMT.

Shall I delete the other one?

I think UConn is easily the worst champion I've ever seen.

Most obvious case of bitter grapes intersecting with crass hyposcrisy & abject poster hatred ever seen.

Sure, an ugly damned game but what a loser!

I'm going to ignore the blatant antisemitism (what would your wife's brother-in-law think?) and just say that I wanted to keep an up-to-date list. It's the first time I've ever won a bracket or pick 'em contest--and that includes a number of close calls--online or amongst friends, so I'm rather excited about the fact that I've finally won one of these damn things.

img tag will make a picture normal size. img2 tag will reduce an overly large picture to fit on the board without being cut off.

What's with pretty decent jobs hiring new coaches that are going to do absolutely nothing for fanbases yearning for winners let alone improve the product on the court? Missouri and NC State both made awful hires.

I blame the economy and George Bush.

Missouri could have hired King Rice and instead went with Frank Haith? What was it about Frank Haith's work at Miami makes Mizzou think he's going to lead them to the promised land. Was it the one NCAA appearance in eight seasons? The single season of .500 ball in the ACC?

By the way, aggie, I noticed Perry Clark was canned from yet another coaching gig, this time at aTm-CC.

In other small time Texas basketball news, Pat Knight got the job at Lamar University...

Anybody! An assistant. You think someone like Mike Dunlap wouldn't have gone there? Not a proven failure who was run off by his own alma mater.

Lamar also had former Marquette lunatic/coach Mike Deane as their head coach for a time.

exactly

unless they are ready to pony up $2.2m a year, then the level of coaches they can get to rebuild and compete against UNC/Duke and the rest of the ACC on a yearly basis is a pretty small pool with little hope of real ROI

Debbie Yow said in Gottfried's introductory presser that Gary Williams sabotaged the NC State coach search. Conversely, how about every knows that Ms. Yow is a giant a-hole and nobody wanted to work at a place where she was AD?
