Marcus Paige has taken this team over (thank God!). He's beginning to remind me of Johnny Dawkins with that wicked lefthanded stroke. Meeks is gonna be alright when he drops another 30 pounds, but he's a smart basketball player (unlike the boneheaded Tokoto). Good call on the Jamison-Henson combo comparison of Brice Johnson -- NOT saying he's as good as either player -- but I'll take him as a poor man's version of either. He's certainly our best interior scoring option. McAdoo? Lord have mercy, he cost himself millions by not riding that Charles Barkley Hype Train to the league after the 2012 NCAA Tournament. At this point, I don't think he has any choice but to come back for his senior season, unless he wants to be a 2nd round draft choice. That is absolutely shocking, considering he was Co-MVP of both the McDonald's All-American and the Jordan All-Star games.

One last thing...Fuck the NCAA for their double standards on the handling of the P.J. Hairston situation. Yes, he deserved to be suspended. But doing nothing to Johnny Manziel, Cam Newton, or even the Louisville player pulling the same rental car shit is absurd.

1. Louisville was off today, but part of that was because of UNC.

2. Roy outcoached Slick Rick. Dean and Roy both own Slick Rick. The last time I saw someone coach circles around Slick Rick like that, it was Dean Smith in 1995. The football equivalent of that would be the way Spurrier used to coach circles around Phat Phil.

3. Marcus Paige is a beast.

4. Brice Johnson has made big strides.

5. If Paige goes down, this team is screwed, even if PJ and Leslie are back.

6. If Paige, Johnson, Meeks and James are here and healthy in 2015-2016 and the recruits we have coming into the program pan out, the 2015-2016 squad will be a juggernaut. They will need a shooter or two, but I think that will happen.

7. Nate Britt has been a pleasant surprise. He isn't going to overwhelm you, but he is serviceable.

8. Roy outcoached Slick Rick. I wanted to repeat that. The point zone has a lot of potential, imho.

Cheating is the only way you've ever done anything. You want to compare a pickup game and some tickets and shoes to an entire academic department set up to give athletes whatever grade they need to remain eligible and agents paying payers, and boosters providing houses and cars.
