I don't know- we're living in the age of a lot of anxious white people carrying concealed weapons. Gun ammo hasn't been on the shelves in years and that isn't an exaggeration.

I'm not saying its going to happen alot, but seeing random attacks from gangs of black kids on the news just got those people extra twitchy.

The knockout game (in various forms) has been around for ages (at least in the Philly and surrounding areas). While I've largely seen it with black kids, I've seen idiotic lumbering white boys moshing or body checking randoms.

It's a lizard brain thing, not racial, in my opinion. It just carries extra weight when it can be blamed on rampaging black kids. That's how the cotton growers stomped out the rise of hemp. That tactic won't ever stop working, but that doesn't mean it's legitimate.

Zimmerman's long list of police meet and greets have little to do with dangerous black kids. It just seems that not having one to blame now for his actions may be his downfall. That chick he was living with was young blond, too. That's the polar opposite of the area black kids reside on the "snap judgement" spectrum.
