Or better yet, take BRM up on his advice and get more fiber in your diet. A touch of metamucil wouldn't hurt either.

it's been horribly overdone, but the Hitler vid aTm posted made me LOL
If no one comes from the future to stop you from doing it, then how bad of a decision can it really be?

Allow me to answer the latest of your pedantic questions with another question:
How disappointing. And I mean that sincerely.

Pedantic? Do you know what the word means? Asking you to defend or discuss your opinion is not pedantry. It is discourse, debate, discussion, and infinitely more interesting than Hitler videos and the like. I honestly (naively?) thought you had a metric or some other fact or tidbit of knowledge that led you to your conclusion. If you didn't, a simple, "Oh, this is more a visceral thing than a metric thing," would have been enough. I would have disagreed, but I would have dropped the discussion.
"Please write a concise essay....blah, blah, blah"
I never asked you to write an essay, I was just asking you why you thought something. So, you take a prediction of mine and morph it into the same thing as a discussion of the relative strengths and weaknesses of Bama's and Auburn's special teams play so far this year? I have no idea what you are going for with this. And I have no idea how it ties in with your mistaken belief that the hack that you still carry a Cam-Grudge on from 2010 works for WJOX.

Nonetheless, I will oblige you with the reason for my prediction on the AU-UGA game:

I thought Auburn would thrash Georgia because of one main reason: Defense: Or, rather, Georgia's lack of it. The Bulldogs currently allow over 30-points per game, still have a ton of injured, and have not played particularly well since the LSU game: Tennessee took them to OT, they lost to Vandy, Mizzou spanked them, and a moribund Florida team had a legit shot at beating them. Throw in an explosive Auburn team who controls their own destiny playing at home with a score to settle and you have the essential framework of why I thought Auburn would win big.

When Auburn went up by 20, I felt secure in my prediction. Auburn let off the throttle and let UGA got back into it, including what was likely a phantom TD by Murray. In then end, Auburn did not win convincingly and it's really a miracle that they won at all. I was wrong.

in sum: (1) It was an honest and legit attempt to discuss football (2) kinda shocked at how you reacted (3) will go back to sniping your inaccuracies, inanities, and lies.

I thought metamucil was fiber...

That really depends on the relative nature and quality of the discussion or the Hitler video. In the current case, I'd say it's a wash at best...

Prof, it would've taken way less time and effort to merely answer AA's question than to go into that tirade...

It's just maddening. We were close to actually discussing football.

Me: I think Bama's special teams are a bit better.

Prof: I think Auburn's special teams are a bit better.

Me: [stats] why do you think Auburn's special teams are better?

Prof: THAT'S PEDANTIC! AND YOU WERE WRONG ON YOUR PREDICTION OF THE GEORGIA SCORE AND WRITE AN ESSAY. BECAUSE SCOTT MOORE AND WJOX!

Even so, I still say it's a toss-up b/w that and Hitler videos...

Heh.

JFK was an honorary letterman at Bama. Bryant, who was a progressive for Alabama in the 1960's, liked Kennedy and vice versa.

Bryant is second from the left. There is a young guy between he and Kennedy. Kind of stoop-shouldered with a forced smile on his face.

He didn't look the same without his hat. He must have really liked JFK to remove it.

Coach Bryant didn't wear hats inside. He considered the Super Dome "inside" so he wouldn't even wear one in there:
