Well, they gave a helluva show. Parker shot his load in the first 30 minutes. Wiggins, as usual, turned in a performance that seemed fairly regular (almost passive) yet finshed with 22 and 8 (or 10, depending on what graphic you want to believe from ESPN). Watching him play I realized he may be Kansas' best defender and his presence pulls defensive pressure off of the guys driving to the basket. It was great to watch. Smart kid. I don't know if they do +/- in the college box scores, but I'm sure Wiggins' was strong.

Randle is Zach Randolph with about 5 additional inches on his vert.

Somebody threw out Chris Webber as a comparison to Randle last night. Again, if he pans out like that, it should be worth a couple hundred million for him. Hell, the way things are going with elite pro athlete pay, it might be twice that or more by the time he's done...

Parker was certainly more style and flash than Randle.

At one point Randle was triple teamed against Michigan St and scored easily, but he wasn't the alley oop/3 point shooter that fans love to see.

CWebb was much more explosive. Ask Tom to the Izzo, Randle is an athletic Zach Randolph.

So, I am eating at Ditka's in Chicago last night with a few colleagues and watching the Michigan State game and we realize that the games are being played at the United Center, WTF? So we were thinking, maybe we can run over and hit the second game, but it was like 25 degrees outside and decided to stay at the warm bar instead.

The Cleveland Cavaliers were staying at our hotel after the Monday night game and some were hanging out in the lounge afterwards. You talk about the talent they attract...
