Not at all the Sharknado-style shitshow its title suggests, Mike Mendez's Big Ass Spider is as improbable as a superhero or a super-monster—it's like some SyFy original was bitten by a radioactive Joe Dante, endowing it with well-staged scares, sharply timed jokes, goofy yet effective CG effects, and, as its every-schlub hero crawls through ductwork in pursuit of the swollen-up arachnid of the title, serious bursts of cartoon squick.

I also really like Patricia Arquette's character - a strong female role that is as crooked as the men without being a disgusting pig

I actually said something like "HOLY SHIT" when Van Alden took care of business in the alley.

I didn't like the guy at all until now.

I also like bringing Richard back into the fold as Nucky's new gun muscle. A killer without remorse or emotion is always fun TV

Patty Arquette has become Bette Midler somehow. just can't picture skinny little Nucky wearing that shit out.

I still say Van Alden's Skandi bride is the biggest freak on the show. She was happy to peel off that nightie and straddle him when he brought home the bacon.
