If you are like me, you have not met anyone in your day to day life that is for getting involved in Syria. The only people I hear in support of this are established politicians and their media lackeys. These people, being in Washington a long time, have become too cozy with certain arab countries' leaders, friends even. I bet those "foreign policy" trips senators make to these places are pretty posh. Statements like this one Kerry makes just solidifies my belief this is all about doing these arab countries' bidding because they see him as a threat, or they need oil prices to spike again, I don't know, but it is not in this county's interest, that's for sure.

So forget about this idea we are the world's police. We're nothing more than selective enforcement. We're a bully and once the two bit dictator gets a nuke, we wring our hands and whine to the U.N. to do something. Its why we continually phuck with Iran while North Korea gets away with test launching missiles at Hawaii.

Actually we're not a bully, we're a puppet getting our strings pulled. We are the police of the middle east - and we see everyone there besides Israel as people in hoodies.

A convicted rapist collapsed after police told him he may have contracted HIV from the woman he assaulted.

The BBC reports that Richard Thomas, 27, was sentenced last week to five years and four months for raping a woman while she slept. He pleaded guilty to the crime in Liverpool Crown Court on July 20.

Thomas will find out from test results later this week whether he's contracted the disease.
