well, like I said, a lot can happen between now and Xmas.

Last night about 11:00, the friend called to tell my wife about her first swinging experience - which is not unexpected, clearly that's what they wanted to happen with us in New Orleans, but my wife had already talked to me about how the idea of sexing up her friend after she'd started the dick of the month club was unappealing to her so she is in a holding pattern right now. I was hoping they'd put off swinging until after Xmas. Of course in New Orleans we were completely caught by surprise so even if we would consider it , it wasn't anything we'd ever seriously discussed before.

I was already asleep when she went to bed last night so she told me this morning about the phone call, and she didn't sound grossed out by it, but she also said that was something she could never do (I can't see myself ever wanting to either - I'd have to get in shape, trim my ear hair, eat celery - too much pressure). So I'm in a delicate situation.

I have to say I have mixed emotions about it - mostly from an STD standpoint - whether its HPV or something worse, that was always in the back of my mind to begin with and now those concerns are amplified with this whole swinging thing going on. It appears the New Orleans experience opened the flood gates for her friend. This situation highlights the basic difference between us. A 40ish something single no kids couple with locked in jobs versus a 40ish married couple with kids, one is a school teacher and the other is a boy scout leader. There is no backlash or fallout for them so they don't have to be discrete. Since they aren't married if it doesn't work out, they move on and have little baggage to deal with but in the mean time its fuck fest 2013.
