The Detroit Lions bring in a soccer kicker, and the guy makes all 3 of his preseason kicks including a 49 yard and 51 yard field goal - and the one I saw wasn't even close, and then they cut him.

Think about the pressure he was under never really kicking in an American football game and this guy nails them in the NFL.

all my info on this comes from PTI. He already had a nickname called Kickalicious and the Lions felt he'd be a distraction throughout the season - which, you know, is what NFL teams don't want - something that interests the fans.

They said he'd be on a team somewhere though.
