I really wouldn't mind seeing D'Gaul and aggy caught up in a hostage situation right now. If for no other reason than to keep their asses away from the football thread.

I blame CMAC. Mainly because I need to blame him for something.

As an Alabama fan, I know how devastating losing a coach and the fear impending sanctions can be, so I take less joy outta this situation than most. Also, I've always liked Ohio State. Goes back to the 1970's and meeting some of their fans at the Sugar Bowl. Coach Bryant's team beat the living shit outta Woody Hayes' team in '78, but the bucknut fans were upbeat and friendly even after the massacre. Most said that they hoped we won the MNC (we won the AP).

as a BC fan I remember 1996 when one of the players on the team bet against BC to win a game. the gambling scandal pretty much ended Dan Hennings career. those were dark days for BC football

You mean like when the Bammer fotball team lost their coach, Coach Mike Price?

Please cease and desist on the topic of Alabama football coaches and leaving for any other potential destinations, thanks.

Ahhh, him. He never coached. Pity. Would have been better than Shula.

lol

That was a brilliant tactical move by Bama. Tricking Fran into leaving so that we could flounder around with Shula for 4 years while we worked on getting Saban. Genius, I tell you.
