Re: College Football
t looks like Johnny Football is the center of controversy once again. Texas A&M Aggies quarterback Johnny Manziel has found himself in hot water at the Manning Camp after he failed to show up for numerous meetings. Manziel was “sick” according to the camp officials, which is often code for hungover, after a night out on the town Friday night and he could not throw on Saturday night.
However, it appears Manziel was kicked out of the Manning Camp for partying too hard:
“Something kinda unbelievable, Johnny Football was asked by the Mannings to leave, hence the reason why he didn’t throw. [He] slept through all the staff meetings came out to practice only once. Amazing. [He] shouldn’t do that anyway but definitely not to the Manning’s. I never saw him once. Heard some ladies snapped a pic of him and McCarron in the bar and it hit twitter and he wasn’t happy about that.”
It is just the latest sign of extreme immaturity from Johnny Manziel.
Not only did he do himself a disservice by robbing himself of a chance to learn from some of the best in the NFL, but he completely disrespected the Mannings.
Texas A&M hopes to make a run in 2013, but they will need their quarterback to focus on playing football rather than chilling with pretty ladies and kicking back drinks before he has meetings and obligations on the field.
Plenty of NFL scouts already have concerns about Manziel’s attitude and immaturity and this report will do nothing to help.

I like the stinky pinky but only up to the first knuckle, I do not want a GD thumb up there--I've told her multiple times and I always catch her when she tries to pull a fast one---it's my butthole for Chrissakes I'm gonna know--so cut out the BS.

Re: College Football
Anybody remember John McKay the old college/Tampa Bay Bucs 1st coach? He always had some fun quotes
* Following the 51–0 loss to Notre Dame in 1966, "I told my team it doesn't matter. There are 750 million people in China who don't even know this game was played. The next day, a guy called me from China and asked, 'What happened, Coach?'"
* Following a game in 1967 in which O. J. Simpson received over 30 hand offs, McKay was asked "Why are you giving the ball to Simpson so often?" He replied, "Why not? It's not heavy, and he doesn't belong to a union."
* On recruiting his son, J.K., to play football at USC: "I had a rather distinct advantage. I slept with his mother."
* After a series of questionable calls helped Notre Dame tie top-ranked USC in 1968, McKay was asked about the officiating. He answered "I'm not surprised. The referee is a fine Catholic fellow by the name of Patrick Murphy."
* After the Tampa Bay Buccaneers' first unofficial game, he responded to a question, "Well, we didn't block, but we made up for it by not tackling."
* When asked his opinion of the NFL, he said "I've seen what they do in the professional ranks and it's not anything different than what we do here." McKay also did not understand the huge amounts of drama the league built around games, stating "What's so different between losing in the NFL and losing in college? You win, you put a check mark next to the game on the schedule list, and when you lose, you put an X next to it."
* Following a Tampa Bay Buccaneer loss, McKay was asked, "What's it like in the professional ranks, coach? Anything special?" He replied, "No I was beat 51–0 in the college ranks. It's the same thing."
* Standing on the sidelines during a game, McKay said, "Can't stop a pass, or a run...otherwise we're in great shape."
* During a team meeting, McKay told his players that games are won and lost in "the trenches." He then spotted Howard Fest sleeping in the back. McKay yelled, "FEST FEST, where are games won and lost?" Fest replied, "Right here with the Buccaneers coach."
* Following a Tampa Bay Buccaneers loss in their early seasons, McKay was asked what he thought of his team's "execution." He replied, "I'm all for it."
* "Capece is kaput," referring to Buccaneers kicker Bill Capece after he missed game-winning field goals in the final game of the 1983 season.
* After the Buccaneers won their first regular season game against the New Orleans Saints during the 1977 season 33–14, McKay mused, "Three or four plane crashes and we're in the playoffs."
* After receiving harsh criticism from the media about McKay's coaching skills in the NFL, McKay replies "You guys don't know the difference between a football and a bunch of bananas." In the next interview, members of the media left bananas for McKay. He then replied, "You guys don't know the difference between a football and a Mercedes Benz."

They could have gotten Dexter Manley to sign that contract and he woudln't know the difference either.
Sure, I've been called a xenophobe, but the truth is, I'm not. I honestly just feel that America is the best country and the other countries aren't as good. That used to be called patriotism.

Re: College Football
well there's literally millions of dollars in federal funds involved hundreds of thousands just in pell grants. no one else seems to be willing to do their jobs and actually find out what went on over there, put a stop to it and punish the for what if anything they're guilty of. that being said the petition is ridiculous.
It will be interesting to see how many signatures it gets.

Re: College Football
Don't know. I haven't read the thread about it. I assume someone does or they wouldn't have done it. My guess is that it's more about attracting attention than anything. PP wants to keep this as much in the public eye and to attract as much attention as possible. Even if a bunch of people think they're fools at least it will make it a little bit harder for the NCAA and U*NC to sweep this under the rug and let it go away.
Matt Kupec was U*NC's leading fund raiser. He got Tami Hansborough her job and then after he started banging her they used a plane owned by a U*NC charity to fly to basketball games. After he was fired his attorney said something along the lines of "it would not be a good idea for U*NC to prosecute" Kupec. Maybe the petition triggers an audit of Kupecs fundraising. Who knows. You guys think I'm nuts, you have no idea how much stuff I dont post from PP.

FWIW I just scanned the thread about the petition on PP and I didn't see a single post in support of the petition.

Re: College Football
Well if U*NC had gone with a real independent investigation in the first place instead of this coverup this would all be over right now. They'd have a couple less banners in the Nose Dome but they'd have their integrity and would be moving on like Penn State. But now we're in year three with no end in sight and they've become a laughing stock along with the NCAA.

Re: College Football
Which is sillier? A fan base requesting an investigation into rampant fraud at a rival school, or that same rival claiming and giving out rings for a division championship they were ineligible to play for due to that same fraud?
