During a press conference later, O'Mara was asked if he had any advice for Zimmerman, and he answered, "Pay me."

No, because the rumor is out that Kobe and 'Nessa are working on baby #3 who, if male, will be the #1 pick in the 2033 NBA draft.Jungle Rat wrote:Because the future sucks?

speaking of which, Arvydas Sabonis' kid Domantis is destroying the under 19 competition in europe
I'm wondering if he makes the kid follow his path & stay in europe until he matures or if he forces him to jump pond, he's only 6'9" but he's a rebound machine with a jumper

If no one comes from the future to stop you from doing it, then how bad of a decision can it really be?

I would have preferred the good Rev to have posted the Kobe dunk on Dwight.
The next great athlete to fall from the Bryant tree will not be one of Kobe's...and it won't be a boy.

Dominance is shown when the powers that be change the rules in part to combat how great you are. That was very much Wilt Chamberlain (the only non-guard to lead the league in assists)

Well, that's a function of timing, too. It's like Jim Thorpe was the greatest athlete of all time simply due to what he did and when he did it. It doesn't mean that guys today aren't "better" than him today in any number of the sports he dominated during his time.
I will say that both Wilt and Kareem would be #1 picks and All Stars in today's league, but I'm sure Wilt would not average 30 rebounds in a season.
My overall opinion is Kareem was better than Wilt for a longer time but Wilt was probably the single most influential player in the shaping of how we play basketball today.

Re: The Arrogant, Entitltled World Champion Los Angeles Lake
If I had to pick a center in their prime to build a team around, I'd still start with Wilt at center, MJ at SG, Magic at PG, Tim Duncan at PF and LeBron at SF.Bklyn wrote:Well, that's a function of timing, too. No Larry Bird? or Pistol Pete? racist.
U*NC is the cleanest most honest athletic program on the planet. I am jealous of their deserved success, and I'm a mewling cunt.

Earl Monroe in his prime.

Larry Bird over LeBron @ SF? Earl Monroe over MJ @ SG?

I was thinking Earl as the PG. And yes, I think he was a better ballcarrier, passer, and scorer than Magic for the three or four years he played PG. If his knees hadn't have been weak, I believe he woulda stayed at the 1.
I know Magic is the more popular choice, and certainly Johnson played longer...but I would take Monroe in his prime.

Walt "Clyde" Frazier was the PG. Earl "the Pearl" Monroe was the SG.

That was with the Knicks. Before that, with the Bullets, he played PG for 3 or 4 years. IMO, his best years.
