Rice honors David Wilganowski's commitment with scholarship.
Wilganowski nearly died on the field this past September due to a heart condition, and is unable to continue a football career. It's good to see a school doing the right thing like this.

Valuing the thing given is a form of gratitude, but it might not satisfy the vanity of the giver. If something is given with the main intention of receiving gratitude, it was given in the wrong spirit in the first place and therefor the gesture was false and unworthy of gratitude...
