Doug Flutie's nephew just committed to BC today. He's (arguably) the best QB in the state of Massachusetts (been starting varsity for division-1 Natick since he was a sophomore) and yet rivals only gives him 2-stars. He's small. Like his uncle.

Perhaps (if he accomplished what his uncle did) we can errect a second statue to Troy Flutie? We'll see.

Regarding Troy Flutie, I'm not going to say its a TOTAL Craps shoot on recruiting, but if I had come to Worldcrossing back in 2003 and said BC just recruited the best high school QB in the country you all would have said I needed to have my brain examined. The fact that I would have been proven right wouldn't have changed anyone's opinion, but it would have proven that recruiting really is Kinda (sorta) a craps shoot.

I mean, Luke Kuechly? Do we really get him if anyone had really known how good he was?

Yes. BC & ND have always had a nice pipeline here in Cincy to the GCL. (Greater Catholic League). That's been going on since I was a kid. Everyone knew how good he was.
