The only one that heard was my brother in law and he was banging the other one.

It was a good trip we even went to the bunny ranch the first night we were there.

My condolences. Was she pregnant or recent pregnancy? Recent abdominal surgery?

Thank you, it's been a long time now, March 1997. She had gall bladder surgery a year before, but that wasn't it. It was something in her. Her mother died the very same way. She collapsed at work. They called the life squad but she was gone by the time I got to the emergency room. My kids really had a hard time of it, but they're OK now. My daughter is a college professor, married, and is currently living in Europe. Her contract has run out and she'll be returning to the US this summer. My son is a boatswains mate in the Coast Guard and is stationed Florida. I expect him to get married next year. No grandkids yet.

After five years of going right off deep end with women I got married again in August 2003. Nothing is worse than having multiple pissed off women. I had one break out all the windows in my car, another one had a landscaping company drop a load of shit in my driveway, a third sued me for paternity. That fact that I had a vascetomy years before didn't stop her. The DNA test did. My daughter got so mad about it she went tattling to my sister. After being read the riot act by my mother and my sister I started settling down, went back to church, and started dating seriously.

Just to show I have a sense of humor. From an interview on IC with our new director of basketball operations:

For some looking from the outside in, they may see a move from an assistant coach position at Vanderbilt to a Director of Operations role at North Carolina as a step down. Why is it not?

“I think it was a good move for me. Again, I had a great experience with Coach Stallings at Vanderbilt and had been there for 14 years, but in some of the interviews I’ve had for head coaching jobs, one of the things that was brought up is, ‘Oh, you’ve only been at Vanderbilt,’ and ‘Can you only work at an academic-oriented institution?’ So I think just wanting to see how Coach Williams does things and just to be in Chapel Hill at North Carolina felt like something that would be a good move for me.

Providing quotes like only Ron Artest can...
"So, as a fan, sometimes to see LeBron not take over, I'm kind of like, 'Come on, let's do it.' His pops went to jail with my older brother. My brother spent 10 years in jail, they were locked up together. I'm a fan of LeBron, so I always want to see him do well and sometimes I'm like, 'Step it up! Start playing.' "
The single biggest problem in communication is the illusion that it has taken place.

a "do I get involved" or "mind my own damn business" moment

wife and I have started walking around 7am every morning. This morning the temperature was about 64 degrees ...very pleasant.

We walk the loop we always do which takes us by the high school and the track. In the shared parking lot is a car parked under trees. In the car is a baby asleep in its car seat with the windows up. The father, I assume, since he was the only guy out on the track is running about a 1/8 of a mile away but mostly out of sight of the car. My wife and I are debating on saying something to him - its only us, him and about 4 middle school age kids waiting to get into the training room over a space of about 3 acres. Our loop takes us to the end of the road and we head back talking about whether we should say something. Remember, the temperature is pretty nice and I"m sure the baby isn't in any danger of even getting uncomfortable temp wise.

So as we head back the guy is running off the track and we're like , OK good, he's going back to his car but he doesn't - instead he runs the opposite direction back away from the car and now is at one point about a 1/2 mile from the car. So now my wife is furious and is going to call the police. I tell her to wait and we alter our normal walk to stay in the general vicinity of the car. The guy runs his loop and heads back, gets in the car and leaves.

What would you have done?
I like the stinky pinky but only up to the first knuckle, I do not want a GD thumb up there--I've told her multiple times and I always catch her when she tries to pull a fast one---it's my butthole for Chrissakes I'm gonna know--so cut out the BS.

Probably the same. Wait it out but make sure the kid was ok. The temp this morning was fine but had it been afternoon I definitely would have made a call. Just went outside and got in my car. Already pretty warm.

The guy needs to be made to understand that you don't leave a baby unattended in the back seat of a car. Regardless of the weather.

With the wife or without makes a difference. Without, waited until he came back to make sure the kid was ok. With the wife: depends on her anger. Sorry buddy, if it comes down to throwing you under the bus versus dealing with an angry spouse, you lose.

You should have taken the kid out of the car and hidden in the bushes and watched his reaction when he got back to the car. Then jumped out of the bushes and told him he just got punked...

You should have taken a dump on his car hood.
Sure, I've been called a xenophobe, but the truth is, I'm not. I honestly just feel that America is the best country and the other countries aren't as good. That used to be called patriotism.
