I seem to remember an FSU QB getting in legal trouble for videotaping an interlude with his girlfriend without her knowledge. His defense was he did it to prove it was consensual in case she ever cried rape.

Sounds like a strong basis for a long-term loving and trusting relationship...

Very interesting geo-political dynamic as a result of fracking. Good news for U.S.

If we we can become energy independent, that would be one of the biggest developments in our lifetime. Right up there with the fall of communism. Without the need to protect the Middle East oil supplies, we could cut our military budget in half. And after we're gone, and the Arabs and Iranians revert to their natural state of beheading each other after Friday prayers, we can care as little as we do when the Hutu's and the Tutsi's have at it.

The irony is that Europe refuses to engage in fracking for environmental reasons, yet the U.S. emmisions have decreased because of it while Europe's emissions remain high. Your typical environmentalism disfunction.

Never happen. Petro dollar.
Sure, I've been called a xenophobe, but the truth is, I'm not. I honestly just feel that America is the best country and the other countries aren't as good. That used to be called patriotism.

Former head of the Texas Republican Party says Grover Norquist (the anti-tax crusader for those who don't know him) is a secret MUSLIM and thus an enemy of Amurrica.

During his acceptance speech in 2008, Obama said he would "invest $150 billion over the next decade in affordable, renewable sources of energy — wind power, and solar power, and the next generation of biofuels — an investment that will lead to new industries and 5 million new jobs that pay well."

As has been documented several times over, Obama is more than a few windmill blade lengths short of his goal. The most recent analysis shows that his administration has created only 2,298 permanent green jobs, according to the Institute for Energy Research, which used data from the Energy Department's Loan Programs Office to reach this conclusion.

And that scattering of jobs has cost dearly. IER says Washington has spent $26.32 billion to create those few positions.
That means each job has cost taxpayers $11.45 million. And the Democrats complain that corporate executives are overpaid.

This is not the first audit of Obama's green jobs promise that has found it to be a sham. Other analyses have pegged the per-job cost to be grossly excessive.

Throwing 26 bazillion dollars up a wild hog's ass to kill eagles, hawks and condors....this is the new normal.
I saw a werewolf drinking a pina colada at Trader Vic's.

Chrysler just completed their best quarter ever.

That was the only thing Bush ever did right, saving them and GM.
