In the Senate? Not that I am aware. A congressman attacked a representative with a cane in the House sometime around 1800. Their names escape me. It's where Brooks got the inspriation for what he did.

There have been a few fistfights, too. Someone's wig got knocked off in one. Don't remember....memory fades.
