Yeah, the story is getting a lot of run here in my area.

I know most of you guys have kids, albeit at least in their teens now. My question is, did you ever ask parents of kids where your kids would be staying overnight whether they had guns in the house and how they were stored? Is that something you ever even thought about?

every new gun sold comes with a trigger lock.

irresponsible gun owners are the problem

the parents of that 4 year old need to prosecuted for child endangerment or something similar.

Never think about whether my kids' friends' homes have guns. I assume some of them do. That danger is too miniscule to worry about. There's more danger for the kid in carpooling.

you guys have heard me talk about it

some people subscribe to the theory that a gun isn't any good if its unloaded when you need it.

I am not one of them. I keep my guns- all of them.. in a safe , as well as my bullets in a separate location. I do that specifically because we do have other kids running in and out of the house.

Too many stories of kids grabbing someone elses gun.

I was stationed at Panmunjon for a year at the turn of the century---kinda bizzarre being in that buiding marked one side nkorea the other south. you wanted to walk across that line and do something 3 stooges like to the nkorean guard. amazing the facades created by the nkoreans for their side of the border. they tried to make it look like stately huge government buildings but they were only a foot thick supposedly. the music blaring 24/7 from those loudspeakers was also annoying
