Congrats to Slick Rick and the Cards. They were the best team for most of the regular season and clearly the best team in the tournament.

That said.....I hope you ACC boys wash that Big East hackfest style off of 'em next year and get this lovely game back to being actual basketball. The crap that was getting non-called in this game was ridiculous. Pitino has definitely borrowed from Coach K regarding the style of counting on the refs to get tired of blowing whistles.

Half the time there was an offensive rebound and attempted put back, there was an obvious travel, as though the player didn't know that you can't take two steps without dribbling (obviously true for this game). And the over the back was in front of the back ref who just ignored it

Rumor mill has McAdoo leaving for the pro's

I thought Pitino was gracious and humbled last night after the win - certainly not the arrogant guy after the '96 win.

Since I don't have to deal with Cardinal fans everyday I am happy for him. I cannot believe the week he has had. Seriously he needs to retire now and go out on top.

I think it stretched it to 6 instead of michigan being able to get ti back to 2

U of L fans can thank the schools administration that stuck with Pitino through the sex scandal, when most schools would have sent him packing They were smart enough to know that it would be forgotten in time and that Rick was still a great coach. Wouldn't surprise me to see him hang it up soon.
