Kufstein, Austria. Dating to sometime before the 13th century (it was first mentioned in 1205), this Medieval castle was reinforced into a fortress for the gunpowder age. The fortress was a prison for many political dissidents during the Austro-Hungarian empire.

Long time ago. Maybe 20 years, I was a kid and only there for the day see some sights. A buddy of mine has an aunt/uncle that do cattle ranching and they have (had?) a winter ranch near Durango and and a summer place near Telliride. We stayed at the ranch near Durango and went skiing at Purgatory but we went one day to see Telluride.
Sure, I could have stayed in the past. I could have even been king. But in my own way, I am king.
