Considering how explosive he's supposed to be, I didn't see a lot of rise out of him.

Was sitting in a bar in the Dallas airport watching Dook/Louisville when Ware broke his leg. The whole bar's reaction on the replay was almost exactly the same as the Louisville bench. Tough break for the kid (too soon?). Hopefully it'll heal and he'll be back good as new next year. Louisville's D is incredible. Don't know anything about Wichita St., but I can't see how they beat UL. And if they have to play 'Cuse in the finals, they already laid an ass whoopin on them in the Big East finals. And while Michigan didn't exactly luck into their FF berth, I'd say if they replayed the last 5 minutes of their game with Kansas 10 times, they'd lose 8 or 9 out of 10. Really can't see how UL doesn't win it all, esp. with the emotional edge of "playing for Ware"...

Anybody ever been to Telluride? Fucking incredible...

In the minds of most IC posters hundreds of fake classes keeping thousands of athletes eligible for decades is a perfectly acceptable practice at U*NC and this whole scandal was dreamed up by jealous State fans and hack writers at the N&O.

I've been around rivals boards enough to understand - if you go to another board and don't kiss their ass, you're in the crosshairs. I can't say I expected to be banned because all I said was "I'm not so sure that is actually true #fakeclasses" but it irked an overzealous mod and he bounced me. Fair enough.

Not admitting it actually happened is their choice.

IC sucks and there are certainly many pussies in there and the whole kindergarten level of forced "civility" is something klaatu would surely approve of, but they do have the best recruiting coverage and are almost always the first to know when we get a commitment...

So how many new football recruits do we get every year? 18? 20? Probably not that many. And only 3 or 4 new guys every year in hoops. So that's less than 25 new football and hoops players every year. If what you're saying in true, every single one of them have all taken nothing but fake classes for at least the past 80 years to make it a total of 2000 athletes, the bare minimum for your "thousands" claim to be true, but I'm sure in your own mind it's way more than that. Indeed, only a Wuffie or a complete fool would think that is the case, unless of course, you're talking about the fencing and rowing teams as well...

I personally think there should be some interest applied, honestly.

I would shy away from Fed Funds and go with the prevailing rate charged by those entities that give payday loans.
