I wonder if you sign up for that as a donor on the back of your drivers license?

Nah, the amount of people with mental illness who should not have access to guns, but are well enough to live a productive life, is too long to lock them all away.

Also, its kind of silly to me to argue that having a semi-auto rifle with a high capacity magazine is not easier than having to reload after 10 rounds with a glock. It may be possible to kill as many people in 5 minutes, but it surely isn't "as easy."

What we should be up in arms about, not whether universal background checks are required for firearm purchases.

from what I understand, if you're up to something shady... like terrorism, rebellion, civil unrest, stalking your ex-girl, threatening to kill her & her new BF, etc.

Blackberry Messenger is the way to go, that's why the saudis & other arabian states suspended BBM service

RIM servers only keep BBM records for 3 days then its dumped, you actually have to pay for the enterprise business service in order to keep them longer. So by the time a judge orders a subpoena on the transacted messages it's all gone

meanwhile mobile carriers keep those records indefinitely and will often serve up records that are 2-3 months old

case in point, a crew of bank robbers hit a row of banks spanning from windsor to ottawa along Ontario's 401 highway, the only investigative lead was that they caught a masked lookout texting on an i-phone. So months after the fact they cross referenced cell phone calls & texts with the times & dates of the robberies against the location of the cell phone towers closest to the banks robbed.

They found the cell phone numbers used in the robberies, then went after the registered users

if they had used strictly BBM they'd be scott free

the messages also have a stronger encryption : http://www.cbc.ca/news/technology/story ... retap.html
If no one comes from the future to stop you from doing it, then how bad of a decision can it really be?

A Glock 17 has 17-round magazines - standard. You can get 19-round and 33-round mags as an option. Let's forget the high-capacity clips that are available and just compare which is easier to fire, say, 100 rounds through: A Glock with 6 clips or an AR-15 with 4 clips?

Honestly, I think the Glock is easier. It's lighter and it's easier to hold with one hand and quickly chamber and fire. It's also much easier to conceal. Further, an AR-15 has a higher FTE/FTF (gun jams and malfunctions) than a Glock.

As always, your milage may vary.

easier isn't even really the issue

the issue is can he kill as many people with two glocks with multiple clips in the same amount of time as with an assault rifle. I would think that unless the killer is a navy seal then the difference would be negligible in a random shooting where the targets are indiscriminate.

and the only reason I mention Glocks is that due to very effective marketing on their part, Glocks are the gun of choice among yuppies and potential mass murderers who are novices to gun ownership.

I know your dislike, eCat, but I love Glocks. They are the most dependable semi-auto pistol on the market.

Don't get me wrong. My Colt 1911's are my favorite. But a Glock can go a decade without being cleaned and still fire.

LOL at the BlackBerry co-sign.

(I use BBM all the time...the user base is low, so it's not a wide audience. We use BBM or WhatsApp?)

I don't think they are a bad gun, I just think there are better guns for the money

Glocks are $400-$600. They are more dependable than guns twice their price. And, to me, shooting straight and no FTF/FTE are the alpha and omega of what I look for.

I know I sound like a Glock whore, but they are the most dependable semi-auto pistol that I own. I have more expensive pistols (like my tricked Colt Commander that I used in a few competitions) and a few that pistols that are chepaer (A Ruger sr40c is hard to beat for a good "cheap" gun), but other than the Beretta 92F (which is a few dollars more than the Glock 17), Glock is at the top of my reliability scale.

Shooting a weapon at cowering children in a closed-in school doesn't take a lot of technique or skill.
