My dad only smoked Merit cigarettes. I'm guessing because they were the cheapest but he may have had other reasons
I like the stinky pinky but only up to the first knuckle, I do not want a GD thumb up there--I've told her multiple times and I always catch her when she tries to pull a fast one---it's my butthole for Chrissakes I'm gonna know--so cut out the BS.

I remember my senior year in high school they were like $7.20 a carton and Dad thought that was highway robbery

This was more like 7th grade when they were 50 cents a pack. I remember when they went up to 55 cents, we were all bummed b/c now somebody had to come up with an extra nickel...

We cleared out campsites in the woods and built these elaborate smoking chairs with all sorts of compartments for the cigarettes. Me and my buddy shared duty on a morning paper route, we'd meet every morning before going on our different half of the route and smoke a cig...

oscar news up here in canada, regarding Argo, quoting ex-US President Jimmy Carter :
"90 percent of the contributions to the ideas and the consummation of the plan was Canadian"
is this getting any news down there?

it's pretty much all I've heard about the last 3 days, to the point Affleck had to thank us in his acceptance speech, though he pretty much left us out during the movie

On to some other shyt, I thought ROME was hardcore, but then FX dropped Spartacus

There is nothing more rough, rugged & hardcore than Spartacus on TV today, nothing...

the last episode I just found out the true definition of the term "decimation", I guess it makes sense based on the latin root words, but dayum

Yeah Spartacus is very kick ass. However, to much dudity in it for my taste but the amount of nudity in it more than makes up for it.

And yes, decimation is truly that.

The proper way to watch them IMO is

Spartacus - Gods of the Arena (skip the first 10 minutes of it because this is technically season 2 and shows what happens in season 1 BUT is a prequel cause the main star from the first season dies of cancer, very young, real shame, also tells history and backstory for everyone in season 1)

Spartacus - Blood and Sand (Season 1)
Spartacus - Vengeance (Season 3 - new actor as Sparty because as mentioned dies of cancer after season 1)
Spartacus - War of the Damned (current season that is on Friday nights and is on number 5 I believe)

Great series and I think this is the last season but could be wrong.
Sure, I've been called a xenophobe, but the truth is, I'm not. I honestly just feel that America is the best country and the other countries aren't as good. That used to be called patriotism.

Man you want to get pissed, watch the Joe Louis documentary on HBO.

The United States just fucked that man over.

Then you see Muhammed Ali calling him an Uncle Tom.

Ali had a lot of apologizing to do to guys (in and out of boxing) that came before him and during his time out there. He was not a blameless guy.
