I don't know K. I hope he just really wants to win and gets frustrated when things aren't going his way. I noticed early this year that he had started jawing at officials and knew that was a bad sign. He and Brown both have a tendency to try to do too much.

DS, the people on PP know as much about the inner workings of the team as I do. None. The one's bitching about Gott deserve to suffer through our last three coaches again.

Congrats on the win. Hopefully we can win out and still get a bye.

You could say the same thing about ya'lls "knowledge" of the academic scandal at UNC as well...

Seems mighty quiet in Rupp considering the situation. Almost like the fans expect to lose....

Welp, I guess not. Still, there doesn't seem to be much joy in Rupp tonight, even with the victory. Too bad UK isn't a "rush the court" kinda program...

Kentucky has never rushed the court... only the lesser programs do that stuff.

I think the crowd was into it, especially with it being gameday

while it was a good win, it is hard to get excited at the idea that we're playing for the honor of losing in the first weekend of the tournament

you mean the stuff I quote from U*NC's own press releases? like the fraud classes, the illegal benefits, and embezzlement?

I just heard the ESPN announcer while describing a Wake Forest player saying "smash...smash...SUMASH!"

I still dont understand why it took room until Feb to realize PJ should start, i think the Texas and Butler loses would have been avoided and maybe even the Canes at home, it took me 2 minutes of watching this team to think these 6 should get the most minutes with Johnson being the 7th man. And if you watch this team play you can also see that things go better with Simmons on the court then Hubert.

Roy is building a program, idiot, not just trying to cobble together the best single team during any individual season. It makes perfect sense for him to give some of the lesser players lots of time earlier in the season this year b/c this year's team is not a title contender or even a FF contender (unless we get super lucky like the 2000 team, and this year would be even more of a long shot than that one). You'll be glad next year when Johnson, James, etc., actually know what the fuck they're doing rather than coming in for the first time ever with no experience. Or maybe you won't...

Nice box score, Crotch. Must be good for UK fans to know that they can count on the refs to give UK 20 more free throws than the other team so you can have a chance to win in OT at home...

UK does not protect the rim...and Cal's FT issues are unwavering.

james and Johnson are a lot different than Hubert, playing Hubert does not build a program,

If everyone is back next year Hubert should get zero time with Hicks and Meeks coming in, he should be the 7th big behind, JMM, Johnson, Hicks, James, Meeks, Simmons, let alone if UNC plays smalll again if they get Wiggins.

Playing Hubert was a waste of time and games,

players like Hubert can get better in practice and be role players as juniors and seniors not starters as a sophomore you are really clueless about basketball.

"playing Hubert does not build a program,"

Tell that to Kevin Salvadori and Warren Martin...

LMAO, Hubert is averaging 10 minutes a game. You're just (ironically enough in your case) playing some stupid ass semantics game by acting like just b/c Hubert "started" some games he has gotten anything like starter minutes. He's seen 20 minutes exactly twice this year (we won both of those games) and has had plenty of games where he got less than 10 minutes. Bottom line is, you're an idiot...
