More than 77,000 federal government employees throughout the country — including computer operators, more than 5,000 air traffic controllers, 22 librarians and one interior designer — earned more than the governors of the states in which they work.

The findings, from a Congressional Research Service report requested by Sen. Tom Coburn, Oklahoma Republican, were released at a time when public workers’ salaries and benefits are under scrutiny across the country as governments try to streamline.

No mention of Wienergate? Somebody is asleep at the switch today.

BTW, I hear a forthcoming book will drop the bombshell that blacks tend to vote democrat and white evangelical Christians tend to vote Republican.

The point of the article was that it's not just a subconscious favoring of libs. They admit to actively denying parts to conservatives simply because they are conservative. I find funny that the guy who did the day after back in 83 was hoping it would unseat Reagan.

That's why it's easy to stand by the 9:1 thing. When I talk about liberal bias in the media, I'm not always just limiting it to the news media. When you throw in all forms of media, 9:1 is probably an understatement.

Speaking of 9:1, most of you probably haven't heard about the scandal over dem Congressman Weiner's weiner yet. But if he were a conservative Republican, it would be all over the news.

Wow. Hollywood leans left - that's a shocking expose' for sure. Next somebody'll claim that the right dominates talk radio and country music.

Someday a book will come out about your favorite rock stars and their lib tendancies (and other forms of bad behavior). Prepare thyselves..

It seems like Wienergate is a pretty big story in the MSM. His confrontation with Dana Bash on CNN was hilarious. When asked "did you send that picture?" he got angry with the question, then filibustered, then dissembled, then obfuscated, but never answered the question. That pretty much means he did it.

As if to remove all doubt, I heard his latest answer was he could not say whether that picture was of him or not. I guess he has so many pic's of his private parts that he sent to so many women that this particular picture is a needle in a haystack.

BTW, there is a whole thread devoted to Hack's 9:1. This theme is so ubiquitous that it deserves its own thread. Perhaps this discussion should move over there.

Again I understand the need to downplay. However as already stated the article makes the point that is is ACTIVE discrimination and not just some subconscious issue that innocently manifests itself. That is a pretty big difference.
