Great to be conference champs again... i was really just hoping for a couple of more yards on our last possession because I somehow knew the prevent D would come out and it would give Ga hope and opportunity. They surely didn't need hope and used every opportunity well.

One of the best CCGs I've seen.

Agreed but... I pick Bama v K-State. Why you ask?

Fuck ND. Fuck their golden dome. Fuck thier stadium. Fuck their field. Fuck their helmets. Fuck their four leaf clover. Fuck their helmets when they put the four leaf clover on the side of it. Fuck thier blue or green home jersey. Fuck their piss ant leper mascot. Fuck ND ever having anything good happen to them again. They cannot suffer enough and the only good that could come from them making it to the MNC game is the opportunity to get ran over rough shod. I am an Alabama fan and I pull for Tennessee when they play ND. I pull for AUBURN when they play ND.

Fuck ND.

Congrats.

The tipped pass on the fade at the end cost Georgia another shot at the end zone. The young man, Chris Connelly, should not have caught the tipped ball. He's Marlon Brown/Michael Bennett's replacement and didn't realize that he should just bat it down. Really sucked it didn't go down the way I wanted.

Yes, it's interesting that two different tipped passes caused so much of the game drama.

The one that they ruled tipped (but wasn't really touched) that negated a PI call against Georgia and set up the block that was returned for a TD and that one to end the game.

With the win vs Georgia, Alabama claims its 23rd SEC championship. The next closest are Tenn (13), GA (12) and LSU (11).

I couldn't see the tips from my seat. The calls that I felt had the most impact was the no call on a block in the back and then the unsportsmanlike penalty on the kickoff after the blocked FG TD. That cost Georgia 30 dearly on the TD drive that took the game to 21-18. At the end of the day, Alabama's offensive line won the game in the 3rd and early 4th quarter. They were spectacular against Georgia's front.

A.J. McCarron now leads the nation in passing efficiency with the performance vs Georgia - leapfrogging him past Aaron Murray.

"One of the best CCGs I've seen."

One of the best college football games I've seen, period. Ranks up there with the Texas / USC Rose Bowl game in both actual game drama and overall significance. For all intents and purposes, it was the national championship game and it was a great one to watch...

The pity is, now, Georgia gets shut out if a BCS bowl. We'll have NIU or Kent State or whatever in a BCS game, but UGA will be in the Cotten (or whatever). Not fair.

Kent St lost and there's no way NIU gets to 16 with a lame duck coach. There will be no BCS busters this year.
U*NC is the cleanest most honest athletic program on the planet. I am jealous of their deserved success, and I'm a mewling cunt.

I think NIU has a shot. But even if you're right, it's not right that Georgia doesn't get one of the 10 BCS spots.

Saban is already undoubtedly in the alltime pantheon of great CFB coaches. The only question now is if he will end up as the undoubtedly greatest of all. He's well on his way...

McCarron threw that 45 yard TD perfectly. He played great under immense duress all night. I am very impressed with him and more impressed with the Bama O-line than anything. I still hate that ball got tipped. Malcolm Mitchell may have had a step on the DB for the fade. This one is going to sting forever.

Sucks we will be bumped out of BCS, but I wanted this team to earn a trip to Miami so badly that there is no consolation prize.

Hedge,

Yeah, he's been great. Since 2008: 60-7, 2 SEC Championships, 2 NCs and a chance for a third. Just outstanding.

Boise State stays at 15 in USA Today Coaches' Poll. Northern Illinois up two spots to 16.
