Single mom's were not allowed in public housing until LBJ's Great Society. They weren't allowed there because people (even women) were smart enough to realize that when you pay for/subsidize something, you get more of it. When LBJ heard that as an argument against his "great society" his response was, "...so what? fuck you we're a rich country and can afford bullets and butter, we can afford to support those few single moms."

It's been all downhill since then.... bastard rate among white children went from 9% in 1960 to almost 30% today. Bastard rate among black children went from 22% in 1960 to 72% today. This is what happens when government pays for something. Now women don't get married anymore, nor do they put their illegitimate children up for adoption. Why should they, they have government cut them a check for housing and subsidy, and they don't worry about the federal debt....

...and women (as a gender) do not challenge one another. As George Clooney said to a woman defending the integrity of his cheating wife in the movie The Descendants, "To another woman, nothing a woman does is ever her fault."
