Easy to say, until you realize that disclosing your ability to essentially nullify your tax liability by using loopholes in tax codes will make it harder for you to reach elected office. The Clinton's effective tax rate based on their early aughts tax returns was something like 31%. I knew at that point that Hillary was running for President. In a way, that made her smarter than Romney...except Romney will pretty much have dodged the bullet this story would have caused if it came out 30 days earlier.
Anyway, we'll all know who's the President by 9pm Tuesday night. If Obama wins Ohio and Pennsy, it's a wrap. Mitt would no longer have any credible paths to 270.
