"If you can’t acknowledge that after a day when Mr. Obama leads 19 out of 20 swing-state polls, then you should abandon the pretense that your goal is to inform rather than entertain the public."

Hmmm, I wonder if Fox News has acknowledged that 19 out of 20 swing state polls favor Obama? Hmmmm, I wonder if Fox News' goal is to inform rather than entertain the public? LMAO. I think 9:1 is the ratio of news organizations out there who at least pretend to report the news to the ones that are basically clown shows purporting to be fair and balanced but who have no interest in anything but agitating the brainwashed idiots who make up their viewership. From what I can tell from this shithole, they have done their job incredibly well...

Another Ohio complication is that so long as the absentee ballot is postmarked by 11/5/2012, it will count. Doesn't have to arrive by Election Day.

I haven't listened to rush since am990 went all sports like 5 yrs ago.

Drudge is my homepage and he links from everywhere.

Realclearpolitics is the other main site and again they have links and articles from everywhere.

Only time I on one of cable news sites if one of the above two have a link to a story or column.

It all comes down to the turnout models the polls are using.

I have a very hard time seeing d voters showing up as much as or more than they did in 2008 and r showing anything less than 2004/2010 if not more.

Whichever side is right is the one going to win. Well that and that independents Favor Romney by a large margin where they favored oprama by a large margin in 2008.

I wanna see if romneys odds get worse on 5dimes. I will be placing a bet on Romney Monday evening barring a November surprise that he has four wives and fucks his dog.

Dem early voters in Florida outnumber Republicans by about 133,000 votes thus far

http://miamiherald.typepad.com/nakedpol ... otes-.html

Note that in Florida too, the Republican controlled state government slashed the number of days for in-person early voting citing fears of fraud. But they did NOT change the rules regarding absentee voting at all, even though it's easier to commit absentee fraud. And that's because more R's than Dems vote absentee.

Florida judge extends early voting in Orange County, Florida after the polling station was shut down most of saturday due to a bomb threat

State Republicans vigorously objected and have filed an appeal insisting that's just tough luck for those people

Pew Research poll shows Obama with a 3 point lead. The difference in enthusiasm not nearly as high as conservatives are claiming. Women favor Obama by 13 points, whereas in early October this poll showed them tied. Men favor Romney by 8 points.

Also, may play a small role in moving some votes, but 69% of ALL voters approve of Obama's handling of hurricane Sandy

They basically offered no justification. They said election boards need the final weekend to simply prepare for Tuesday. AFederal judge said they were full of shit and the US Supreme Court agreed with him. There's really no reason to do away with it unless you want to discourage voters. Certain voters in particular.

Well hell lets just allow voting anytime any place anywhere.

Early vote in Feb for all!

If this is a truly conservative nation, why are conservatives constantly trying to keep the total vote as low as possible?

And I notice you couldn't provide any reasonable justification for cancelling weekend voting either other than "early voting shouldn't exist"

It's not news to us that the majority of people in the US like the sound of taking something from somebody else so they can have some of it.

Share the wealth.

I have said it all along that Oprama would be re elected.

Jealousy and greed are an easy sell, self motivation and responsibility (the alternative to Oprama) is not nearly as easy to sell.

It certainly wasn't easy to sell to you, as evidenced by the fact that you manifestly haven't bought it...

Doing the right thing isn't always the "easy" thing, I prefer to do things the right way as opposed to the easy way.........Plus I'm stubborn
