Anyone seeing Sandy, or comments by pols about it, as benefiting their guy or influencing voters is parsimonious at best and at worst...well, stupid.
I saw a werewolf drinking a pina colada at Trader Vic's.

I dont care about the politics at all, but Christie's comments about the damage remind me of my friend's bachelor party in NOLA shortly after Hurricane Ike where we made it a point to regale the people of the french quarter with tales of the devastation caused by Ike and how they had probably never seen such devastation.
Sure, I could have stayed in the past. I could have even been king. But in my own way, I am king.

They say the death toll on the east coast is like 55. That's probably down considerably from the normal death toll of murders etc. Sandy probably saved lives.

My only regret is that you and Toe-jam weren't amongst the 55. Your day will come, however...

Its frankly amazing to me how the left tries to downplay a govt photo ID.

You have to have one to drive, to cash a check, to buy beer, to buy cigarettes, to get into an R rated movie (technically), yet when it comes to ones greatest civic responsibility (aka voting) you guys are just fine with people not having to show who they say they are. Its stunning.

The IDs are free. The people who bus folks to go vote can easily bus folks to get a free ID. No problem.

Its pretty fucking sad. I mean in Memphis a court has said a library card is a valid ID? Fucking really? And no you don't have to show a photo ID to get the library card. The Dem from Va was showing the way. Just find people who say they aren't going to vote and print out some fake utility bills and boom...another Dem voter.

BTW its really sad how bad MSNBC is. Now they ridicule Romney for turning a scheduled campaign event into collecting food and supplies for hurricane Sandy victims?

Relax, sardis. Everybody who votes for oprama is going straigh to hell by way of spontaneous combustion...that'll open up jobs all over the place.

granted, mostly in journalism, bath-houses, union shops, abortion clinics, tattoo parlors and the like...but still..

The Red Cross asks that people give cash, because they have their own distribution network. Taking cans (as Romney was doing) will be accepted but actually create more headache for the organization.

I think it was lame that he claimed he was postponing his campaign then chose to go to the most storm-ravaged state, OHIO, and put in heavy face time bagging groceries. Oh and looked who dropped by unannounced to help the effort! It's Senator John McCain and Richard Petty! They're here to join me at my NON-CAMPAIGN EVENT!

Fox and ABC News polls came out today and have the national race as a TIE now. Rasmussen still showing Romney +2. Enough to bring the RCP average down to a TIE.

In Ohio, Obama leads in 8 of 9 polls taken since October 23. Romney leads only in the Rasmussen.
